I'm Shailee.

I am sixteen years old, and I'm a Junior in the torturous hell hole that some sadist with a deep-rooted hatred for all adolescents created, and named high school.

I think too much and take every opportunity to escape from the monotony of reality - be it through music, Television, books, or even my own thoughts. I'm both a perfectionist and a self-proclaimed control freak, and i can get pretty obsessive once i get involved in something.

I'm both a poet and an author when the mood strikes, but i gain just as much enjoyment out of reading what others have written as i do from writing something myself.

I love rainy days, reading in bed, driving with the windows down, singing in the shower, sleeping in on Saturdays, and music of any kind.

I'm a complete mystery addict and my frequent fixes involve anything from my own short stories to popular crime novels. My addiction to mysteries is rivaled only by my addiction to T.V. (an obsession that my parents believe to be an unhealthy retreat from reality - but, they're just parents, what do they know?)
