Moi: Oh-lo! My name is Kat and I am a junior in highschool who thoroughly enjoys wasting her time reading/writing various fanfiction! (Something hopefully a good amount of you can relate to). My fandoms come and go and sometimes resurface occasionally and sometimes I write fanfictions on them, and sometimes I only read fanfictions of them, and sometimes I do neither because I had enough the first go around ;) I also write original short stories, but I have yet to publish any of those on fictionpress.net (which is also a great site if you haven't visited yet!) I also enjoy quite a few other things I often abuse as creative outlets ;) such as drawing, painting, photography, and other visual art forms (I once even made a short frame-by-frame film using garden vegetables). I also play several instruments, examples being the fiddle(same thing as a violin, fyi, it's the style of music played on the instrument that "changes" the name), all of the clarinet family (primarily the contra alto clarinet), all of the saxophone family (primarily the alto sax), guitar, mandolin, ukulele, a little banjo, a little piano, and the vocal chords (aka, singin', took 3 years o' lessons for it, so I think it counts). I also do some small theatre acting, though I'm losing interest in it. I even student directed the last play at my school; quite an experience. I read a lot and sluff off homework a lot (I know, I'm bad, bad bad me, I'm workin' on it). I also love swimming, but haven't been able to be on a competative team in awhile. I love music a LOT. Some of my favorite groups/singers are Marlow Honey, Andrew Bird, Northpilot, Ben Kweller, Kathy Mattea, Josh Groban, Julie Andrew, The Anniversary, Mumford & Sons and Paramore (but, seriously, who doesn't love Paramore?) Anyway, that's just a little bit of general information about yours truly.

Fandoms: Obviously I seriously indulged in what USED TO BE the best show of all time--that has yet to win the Emmy for Best Show of All Time-- Warehouse 13. I would proceed to tell you who my favorite characters are and whatnot, but honestly, they are ALL my favorites. However, Claudia and Myka are probably just that tiny little hair higher on my list. I relate to these two ladies a lot, but in a lot of different ways. In my current freaky teenager-dom I'm probably a lot like Claudia, but in Myka's past and fears I see a lot of myself. I love Pete. I feel like he's my big brother =) And Artie is just ARTIE! What would we do without him? HG Wells is a villainess, so I therefore love her. (I've always had an odd obsession with villainesses. Usually because they are butt-kickers. But in the case of WH, all the girls are butt-kickers, so I lurve them!) HOWEVER, as far as romantic pairings go, I'm am completely and totally infatuated with Pete and Myka. They simply belong together forever and ever. It's just da truf. However, due to outside influences, I'm becoming more and more kindly to the idea of Helena/Myka. I still don't think they should be together forever, but they have chemistry and I can't deny that without being ridiculously in denial. But, if you were to find HG and Myka in one of my fics, you would find that they are simply very dear friends to one another. So...all in all, I love this show!

NOW I'm a hardcore Bonehead. Bones is my life. My life is Bones. Notice how I haven't published any fics for it yet xD I think I'm gravitating toward primarily being a READER of fanfiction. I started to write a few fics for this lovely show, but I was always dissatisfied with them. I've just been more focused on my original works as of late. Plus, it's different when there are already thousands upon thousands of fics for a certain fandom out there. Anyway, I read a LOT of Bones fics though! Send yours my way if you're looking for an in-depth review! Especially if it's about family life or is angsty ;D

There are also quite a few other movies I may or may not be obsessed with to some extent. (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Moulin Rouge, Cold Mountain, The Music Man, Pirates of the Carribean, Coraline, Beetlejuice, Mulan, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Australia, Practical Magic, Far and Away, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, The Incredibles, Megamind, How to Train Your Dragon, The Adjustment Bureau, etc, etc, etc...) But I won't go into that ;)

Miscellaneous Me: I love making friends and sending reviews and whatnot, so if you've received a review from me, write me back! I'd love to talk to you! If you've read my stuff and I havn't updated in awhile, write me and yell at me! If you just wanna talk to somebody who likes some of the same stuff you do, write me! I always write back fairly quickly! And if I don't, I sincerely apologize, but I'm sure I have a good excuse.

ALSO, if you're down in the dumps or at wits end and you need to hear something REALLY great, I happen to have the key to happiness and am willing to share it with anyone who asks =)

How to Tell if You're a Writer

-If you talk to yourself.
-If you talk to yourself about talking to yourself (i.e. ‘I wonder why I talk to myself so much?’)
-If, when you talk to yourself, you sometimes speak as if talking to another person (i.e. ‘Okay, so have you ever noticed that the word ‘deliver’ could mean removing someone’s liver?’)
-If, after uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand in awe and say, ‘Wow, this is good stuff for sugar highs!’
-If you live off of sugar and caffeine.
-If people start to notice that you tend to check your e-mail every day for a week, then suddenly disappear off the face of the planet.
-If your e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
-If, when replying to someone else’s e-mail, you are sometimes so random that you fail to address the original message altogether.
-If you tend to collect the Bic Stics people leave lying around, kind of like picking pennies off the ground.
-If, no matter where you are in your room, you never have to so much as get up to reach a pen/pencil and paper.
-If the letters are starting to wear off on the keys of your keyboard.
-If people think you might have A.D.D.
-If you think it’d be cool to have A.D.D.
-If you start constantly talking in third person, past tense.
-If you think about making lists like this, and start giggling for no ‘apparent’ reason.
-If your friends don’t even bother to look funny at you anymore when you start giggling for no apparent reason.
-And finally, the number one way to tell if you’re a good writer: If you worship English 101.
