Author has written 18 stories for Beyblade. It's five o'clock in the morning. Conversation got boring. You said you were going to bed soon, so I snuck off to your bedroom. And I thought I'd just wait there, until I heard you come up the stairs. And I'd pretend that I was sleeping, and I was hoping you were creeping with me. Put your arm around my shoulder, and it's as if the room got colder. And we moved closer in together, started talking about the weather. You said tomorrow would be fun, and we could watch a place in the sun. I didn't know where this was going...when you kissed me. Are you mine? Are you mine? 'Cause I stay here all the time, watching telly, drinking wine. Who'd have known? Who'd have known? When you flash up on my phone, I no longer feel alone. I haven't left here for days now. And I'm becoming amazed how you're quite affectionate in public. In fact your friend said it made her feel sick. And even though it's moving forward, it's just the right amount of awkward. And today you accidentally called me baby. Are you mine? Are you mine? 'Cause I stay here all the time, watching telly, drinking wine. Who'd have known? Who'd have known? When you flash up on my phone, I no longer feel alone. Let's just stay. Let's just stay. I wanna' lie in bed all day. We'll be laughing all the way. Told your friends, they all know. We exist but we're taking it slow. Well let's just see how we go. Let's see how we go. Lily Allen Me in a morbidly obese nut-shell:- Hi, my name is Emma. I'm 18 years old, born on the 15th December 1990. I come from and currently live in London, England. Icon still cracks me up. Beyblade is the reason I am here =D However I am also a Lord of the Rings and Star Wars geek, and absolute Harry Potter NUT, That 70s Show is my favourite TV show ever, I watch The Tudors as avidly as I watch South Park, I've been into Pokemon (rocketshipper =D) and enjoy some Naruto from time to time (I love Kakashi…and zomg he's ALIVE). Despite that, Beyblade is truly my fanfiction area =D My favourite characters (in order) Kai and Tala, Brooklyn, Hilary, Tyson, Bryan, Garland Favourite Teams Bladebreakers, Demolition/Blitzkreig Boys, BEGA bladers, and Majestics Favourite moments in Beyblade series when Kai's standing on a mountain with a camel (it's so random! I laughed for ages and nobody knew why!), Tala's awesome quote 'your fly's further down than Australia', Kai almost drowning in the first series, the battles between Kai and Brooklyn, and Tyson and Brooklyn, when Kai yells at the audience to stop booing Max and Rick, when Kai feeds the cats (XD), Kai's epic battle with Tyson, every TyHil moment, every TyKa or TalKa moment, when Tyson says 'perfect for a pillow fort!' or yells 'get bent!', Kai's moment of megalomania where he goes 'that makes you guys the loo-sers', each time Kai drops his scarf and it breaks the floor...most of these are to do with Kai =P Yaoi pairings I ship like mad (or just like in general...) YuBo (TalBry) (OTP), KaiMax, TyKa, KaiTal, MystGar (one-sided), HiroBrook, KaiRei, ReiBry, GarBrook, GarBry, MystRei, TalaDaichi, BryBrook, TalaKenny (yes I'm one of those nut-cases), TalaMax, BryMax...now I'm just rambling The KaYuBo triangle all the way! XD...the seldom-seen ReKaYuBo quadrelateral is also much loved! Hetero pairings I support TyHil forever (even out-rules yaoi), KaiHil for variety, ReiMariah because it's meant to be, BrookMing or GarMing because it's cute, MiguelMathilda because it's also cute (I like to pair those on the same team), and really unusual ones I've seen like BryMariah or TalaMathilda which just work for some reason. Basically, if you write it well, it can work for me... I'm not a fan of yuri, and I'm certainly not a fan of incest, or twincest or whatever. JuliaRaul, TysonHiro, LeeMariah, MaxJudy, KaiVoltaire!! Oh, hell no! Favourite Naruto characters Kakashi, Naruto, Kibba, Hinata, Neji Favourite Naruto pairings (yaoi&het) KakaIru, SasuNaru, NaruHina, SasuSaku (wasn't into it at first, but it totally gripped me after a while), GaaLee, NejiLee, NejiTen Favourite Harry Potter characters Luna, Draco, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Sirius, Neville, Fred (WAH D=) and George, Cedric, McGonagall (she kicks ass), Lucius, Narcissa, Snape...I've got to stop, or I'll name everyone =P. Favourite Harry Potter pairings (yaoi&het) Drarry (OTP), RonHermione, HarryHermione (it's an old favourite-I know it wouldn't work), HarryCedric, HarryLuna, DracoHermione, SiriusRemus, SeverusLily, Snarry, SeverusLucius (last 2 are convertion due to too many fantastic comics or amvs). Writing corner:- I strongly believe that my stories would be really popular, had I written and uploaded them here five years ago. Some fics were written for me alone, evidently in most cases. These include A Different Kind of Love Story, Do Svidanya, Purgatory, A Golden Age, Firefly, Love on the Catwalk, and now Those He Left Behind. There have been some, though, that were written for you, such as My 3 Years in..., Your World, Here's To Us, Twenty One, and When In Spain. With no recognition, these fics would be abandoned or deleted. If I've written and uploaded all the fics I ever planned out, I'd have 37 stories instead of 17. Loves writing unexpected endings, making Kai and Tala suffer (though I love them both dearly =D), humour fics above all, reviews =) (hint hint), including Gou, Lin and Makoto in my stories, when the author's finally get off their asses and update my favourite fics C=, extremely OOC Kai and Tala (only in humour fics where it works though) and Bryan on occasion, crackfics concerning the Demolition Boys and Boris in the abbey (when done well they really make me laugh), when Boris and Voltaire aren't evil-in any genre it's awesome, putting wars in stories (apparently lol), YuBo (TalBry) OTP XD! Dislikes OC-centered fics (yes I'm a hypocrite, but mine was discontinued), authors who think they're too good to review other fics, flamers who don't suggest ways to improve, flamers who don't have the guts to not post anonymously, writing shounen-ai limes/lemons (though I love to read them), authors who make update dates and don't stick to them, writer's block, people who think Kai would fall for an OC who's identical to him, fics that bash my favouite characters in a way that isn't amusing (except Kai, Tala and Bryan. They're kind of supposed to be antagonists anyway), the ReiSalima pairing, bad spelling- drives me nuts, those 'girl from the abbey' stories people write, when a fic's plot completely changes about half-way through because the author didn't plan it all out from the beginning, absolute BASTARDS who fave/alert a story and don't review it, when authors can't make up their mind whether their story's in past or present tense. Wow, my dislikes are significantly longer than my loves =P Don't plagarise. Happened to me. Happened to me RECENTLY. It's not cool; don't do it. There are more honest ways to get recognition. Me on my stories:- (honourable mention fics are in bold-yes, I have honourable mention fics...) I believe Teardrops will always have the most faves. I think A Different Kind of Love Story was a disaster, but somehow worth keeping up. What Did I Feel Yesterday? was an experiment and the first idea I had. Happy Reunion was poorly written but still grips me and gets its point across easily. Do Svidanya is exhausting to write, but I adore the story. My favourite oneshot is still My 3 Years in 9,255 Words, though sometimes I wonder why, especially as I didn't intend to even write it at first. Eventually came to me while sitting in traffic, and is so short I would never put it up now. Your World depresses me greatly and has the least views, but I like it's originality. I don't even remember how the idea came to me for Here's To Us. To this day, I think Purgatory didn't get enough credit. Firefly was awesome and supposed to be outstanding, but the vibe left me completely before I could begin the planned sequel. A Golden Age definitely has the most potential, I don't doubt that. Twenty One is my biggest risk taken, and never regretted. My vacation, Love on the Catwalk was never intended to become anything close to a favourite, but I admittedly fell totally in love with it. I have never been more happy with reviews than the four I got for my tragedy oneshot By Your Side. For something completely different, When in Spain... reminds me of how comedy fics used to be. Those He Left Behind was the break-through I needed, and one I hope will pay off, because I already love it as my first real story-writing success. I can't believe that Crack for Kai is one of my more popular oneshots, but do appreciate it I suppose. And don't ever think that it's too late to review! Some people don't review a fic unless it's recent. I welcome reviews no matter what story it is so it really doesn't matter. Fics I'm working on:- I should be getting back to these soon. -Do SviDanya – Adventure/Romance, KaiHilary, Hilary's POV. In a desperation to prove herself, Hilary set out on an adventure at the age of seventeen. Telling us her story from several decades later, Hilary explains how this adventure turned her life around, and affected her greatly in more ways than one. -Those He Left Behind - AU, Crime, a few minor pairings. The cost of one useless fugitive’s desertion can be a disaster, especially when stretched to this extent. Between the members of the gangs and the police force, once their only lead falls to her death, all that’s left to do is to win this war to find him. Stories I want to write:- ie, fics I'll probably never get round to... -Tell Me You Love Me- It was dangerous, perilous even. Passion bound by murder, and claims made through pain. They never knew the true horrors those old walls held. The dead kept silent about this love. But whose love was it really? A horror fic, or perhaps one/two/three-shot. It’s already being worked on, actually, but my mind has drawn a blank with its plot. And thank god too, because I just can’t have another freakin’ fic to work on; I’d go insane! -Gomenasai- An act of love, or a burdening obligation? The clutches of guilt can hold tight against freedom. Kai’s life had been saved that day, and by him. A rather tragic TyKa oneshot which I planned but couldn't bring myself to begin writing. It will stay in this section now, because I do still want to get round to it one day. I would recommend:- stories written by others which I have favoured (note I have not been asked to do this by anybody) Great stories in general- Schwarze Unterwelt by Anubis-sama, Vaulting Ambition: A Judy Tate Story by MarianQ, Chibi Chaos! by Astera Aran, 1000 Miles in 10 Seconds by Ladya C. Maxine, Playing At Grownups by Shin Rigel, Ore no CONPANION ni nare by rebecca85, and Wishful Thinking by lessira Funniest comedies I've read- From a Different Angle by Neiize, Our First Noel by Ladya C. Maxine, The Beast Within by redmoonqueen, Becoming the Normal Teenager by The_Great_Hippo_Thief, Resident Furby by Ladya C. Maxine, KaiRayRayKai Productions by konfizkate91, Electric Chair by MissCloud, and Chronicles of Max by Purple-Kissed-Wishes. Those tragic ones we love- You're All I Need by MarianQ, The Patient and The Wall by LaDyFiCtIoN, Russian Lullaby by xXx Phoenix Rising xXx, State of Flux by sliding etc., and Breaking The Rules The State of Obsession by Lyson Updates:- I've got a life and I'm building an education. I have a lot of work and I don't always have the time. I fell for a fandom and love can fade. But it will have to wait a little longer to completely disappear. I used to spend my spare time on stories I loved: stories I was writing. It saddened me when my favourite authors left and my reviewers began to lose interest and fade out. My mojo slipped and when I felt I had it back...it was the ones I wrote for who had slipped away. In the end it's about the reviews, and we all know that. After a while it was my turn; what's the use in writing what no longer inspires us? I traded fandom for a life, a temporary solution until I could afford both. I was so sure I had angered people, but what more could I do? I wanted to say I'd come back, but I was reluctant to disappoint, something I was so sure would happen...though I wouldn't have dared say it. I want to keep whining, though. I want to sigh when the others leave and know I'm sticking to something I might have actually been good at. I don't want to be the abandoner they tut about; I want to be the one to complain. I might not make promises, nor be able to stick to them right away. I might still walk out one day, say no trace of a goodbye and never look back again. You tutters might see my real fucking abandonment. But not today. Because I'm StZen, and I'M NOT DEAD YET. So here's the deal; Do Svidanya and it's magic has helped convince me to return so I can finish it and have the satisfaction of finally finishing a lasting fic which is longer than ten chapters. Chapter 11 was the best fanfiction chapter I've ever written, which really gives me hope for it's future. I'm also going to start and finish Those He Left Behind because by the end, if I write it as I want to, it will undoubtedly be my best story. It won't necessarily be the most successful as reviewers are hard to come by these days, but in my mind I'll call it a triumph. For now, When In Spain... has been placed on the abandoned pile, along with a fic which has gone un-updated, with only one chapter, for a year and a half now. But believe me, nothing annoys me more than knowing that I'll never be able to finish A Golden Age. I can't believe I've abandoned a fic with so much potential: my longest story planned with thirty two chapters, too many plots to count, and four sub-story fics I planned to write alongside it. I think it's been my most enjoyable fic to plan, but I know I simply can't pick up on it again. The fics I'm discontinuing will never be deleted, should something happen and I suddenly decide to go back to them. I'll have to work to get back the reviewers I lost when I put Do Svidanya on hiatus for about 6 months, but I'm going to try. Keep an eye out for my two fics; it shouldn't be long before you once again see updates from me. Aside from fandom:- the real deal I have a novel. Well, it's not written yet, but I have a novel planned. It's a bizarre one; when I came up with the idea I laughed it off and shoved it to the back of my mind. I thought it was a little too bizarre, but after reading Chuck Palahnuik's Lullaby, I realise that there's no such thing as too bizarre. I actually have a title now, and I'd say it's a bit of a personal triumph. The planning process is running relatively smoothly, and character names and chapters are being sorted out now. The final thing is figuring out how I'm going to make it novel-length. I'm so used to fanfiction; I hope I can manage something a little different. Speaking of fanfiction, I'm going to re-write some fics to turn them into something real. Purgatory was already re-written for a school project, but I'm thinking of reconfiguring Love on the Catwalk and writing it's sequel, Magenta to Turquoise, and seeing if they can be combined into a potential novel (I have much to do, I know). Another is Those He Left Behind, which, like the other two, will be simpler because the entire plot is already planned out. And on top of that, I've been working on re-doing Firefly and By Your Side to send into magazines as short stories. Most of them are after science fiction sorts, so Firefly would be ideal, but I'm trying to avoid that one because I'd have to shorten it until it's around half the length, and the writing is far worse. I am hoping to find somewhere to send off By Your Side, though (which has required a lot of editing with an entirely new back-story needed and all). So I have four novels now because my less planned one is also in planning progress, but slightly slower than the rest. It's got a base line but still needs more melody, so to speak. I plan to write in the background during my studies if I have the time. I'm not fully convinced that this will work out, but I'm going to try because I do like my ideas. If art college doesn't work out, I've decided to go into English with the hope of becoming an editor, or perhaps a publisher. Those are the dreams for the time being. I'll probably end up in real-estate or something, but we shall see =). Where you can find me:- MSN: emma_morris40@hotmail.com but don't expect me to be on much, at all, especially English people because I'm in a completely different time zone =P Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=1638930195&ref=profile on condition you don't mention this site or anything to do with beyblade or fanfiction on my wall =D.
