Author has written 5 stories for Secret Garden, Juno, and Lord of the Rings.

Hello, I'm Expecting Rain.

I love to read and write, so naturally I love this website, but thanks to real life I don't have nearly as much time to spend here as I'd like. I'm always writing, both fanfics and my own stories, but I have a problem about finishing things: I always have so many ideas floating around in my head that I'll start something, get stuck or bored with it, start something else, get stuck or bored with it, start something else, etc., etc. So I've decided that before I post anything here, I will have finished at least the rough draft. This means that it will likely be a long time between stories, but nothing will go unfinished. Ideally, I will post many stories in many genres and categories, but we'll see what happens. Hint: reviews encourage me to write more and faster!

I'm a college student. Furthermore, I'm a college student with a full scholarship who has to maintain a 3.5 GPA to keep that scholarship. This means that I have basically no free time to write. However, see above: I'll make sure I finish a story before I start posting, so we won't have to deal with annoying, erratic, years-apart posts.

A note on reviews: I've noticed that my stories are getting one review for about every one hundred hits - this applies to chapters as well as to the story in its entirety, so I know people are reading. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating this is. If you've taken the time to read, please, please, please review. It only takes a few seconds, and something as simple as "I liked this" or "I didn't like this" is fine.

Well, I guess that's about all. I hope you choose to read my stories and I hope you like them; I try my best, but I know I've got a lot to learn - and, in the words of the Beatles, I'm getting better all the time (better, better, beeetttttteeeeeerrrr)! To close, I want to thank everyone who's read and especially those who have reviewed!
