I am an elementary school teacher living in Las Vegas, NV, who just LOVES to read and write fics. I'm only starting to post any of my fics where others can actually read them, and I'm a total review junkie.

My favorite fics to write are Dark Angel (I LOVE Max/Alec, although I'm a fan of Max/Zack as well. I don't think I'm capable of writing Max/Logan- as time goes by he irritates me more and more; when the show first aired he was my fav, but it turns out that at the time I was totally dating my own Logan. Now that I've smartened up, I can't stand the git), Roswell (I used to only be into CC, but now I'm branching into UC- Max doesn't always deserve Liz, and sometimes Michael or Kyle deserve something better than what they wind up with though I'm usually pretty set on Alex/Isabel), and Doctor Who (always Rose though the version of the Doctor may change).

Here's some info on me :)

Favorite TV shows- Dark Angel, Moonlight (imo one of the most romantic shows ever, so of course it's been cancelled, but at least SciFi is showing reruns and btw popping McLoughlin into a new series is SO not making up for losing this series; I wish the TV execs would just man up and admit they made a HUGE mistake and put the show back together already), Roswell, Doctor Who (especially seasons with Rose), One Tree Hill (not so much now that Burton is M.I.A. even though she wasn't actually my fav character even before she disappeared), Pushing Daisies (another unique and fun idea that I've heard has been done away with), Supernatural, BBC shows

Favorite Movies- changes but right now it's Jane Austen flicks (except the one that is actually about her and has Mr. Tumnus in it); both Narnia movies; The Mirror Has Two Faces (some scenes are just heartbreaking and the end is totally feel-good and I usually love happy endings); Twilight- I've seen it tons of times and counting (did NOT really like it the first time I saw it- too awkward plus no sleep plus midnight showing, but it is getting tons better with each repetition- absolutely CANNOT wait for the new movie to come out. A bunch of my friends are already planning to hit the first showing and I'm actually canceling a trip I accidentally scheduled just so I can be in town for it :)- that sounds kind of pathetic. Oh well).

Favorite Genre- I love supernatural/sci-fi, but they HAVE to have romance in them or I get tired of them after a while

Favorite Music- Dido, Majandra Delfino, Michael Buble, Chris Rice, occasionally Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan without a doubt, Steve Carlson, Jason Manns is pretty impressive, and if you've never heard him Jensen Ackles is amazing (though I might be slightly biased), Natalie (or is it Amy) Grant, Casting Crowns

Favorite Actors/Actresses (in no particular order)- I'll pretty much watch anything with someone from "Roswell" in it at least once, Jensen Ackles (currently completely hooked on), Brendan Fraser; Sophia Bush, Sandra Bullock (usually though some of her more recent roles have seemed a bit desperate), Keira Knightley (usually, though don't get me started on the final Pirates movie), Jessica Alba

Favorite Books- Twilight series (Stephanie Meyer), Harry Potter series, Narnia series, I'm getting into the Left Behind series, basically I love book series because I hate it when anything really, really good comes to an end (in fact, if it's really good I'll read it through and then turn back to the beginning and read it again) and book series last longer than just one book

Favorite Fanfics- Dark Angel (usually Malec- which by the way I was the 1st person to use that term according to reliable sources, so patent pending ;), Roswell, Harry Potter (usually Dramione), Labyrinth (prefer Sara/Jareth), and more and more Beetlejuice (love BJ/Lydia pairings). I guess I agree with DA's Mia- what's the fun of being in love if it's easy- could explain a lot about my personal life :P

I love doing anything with music, acting, reading/writing, playing with my kitty, watching my favorite shows, and checking things off my mile-long To Do list. Despite how very VERY badly I need to, I haven't made it to the gym in over a year, but hopefully as things slow down (maniacal laughter floats from room behind me) I'll be able to make it in soon- I actually really do like exercising. And I'm beginning to learn how to do a decent job of baking (still have no clue how to cook), which considering my previous gym statement seems rather contradictory. Oh, and during my free time, I've started the Doc program in Special Education- so if you don't hear from me for a while, that's why. Well, that and the fact that my family keeps getting hit with major health issues (diabetes, angioplasty, spiking cholesterol levels, Graves disease, hypertension, low/high blood pressure, multiple types of cancer, pregnancy-loss scares, bels palsy, another death, you know- the basics, etc.) Sorry, if I don't joke about it it gets too intense.

Speaking of which, right now I am absolutely hating RL. I had no idea how difficult dealing with fam issues would be until I got thrown into them. I had no idea just how intense the Doctoral program would be until I foolishly jumped into it. And I had no idea what bad timing was until I bought a house in the middle of both- still haven't managed to unpack my boxes and it's been months, but I'm only home for an hour before work and an hour after school/work before I fall into bed. Now, I've compounded my foolishness by getting a bipolar schizophrenic roomate who doesn't think she should have to pay her half of the bills, and life is just beating the crap out of me. So, those are my excuses for why it's been so long since I've updated anything. And my complete obsession with reading and writing fics is why I'm thinking about trying to ignore everything else, quitting my job, selling my house and letting the new owners have all of the possessions that are still in boxes, withdrawing from school, crawling into a little tiny hidden hole with wireless internet, and going back to what I truly love anyway. So, thanks for letting me get that off my chest- ranting helps :)

I have one rule for writing- I will never drop a fic. Once I have started writing, I will finish it. It may take me a while (and it has- sorry :( and I might get sidetracked, but I guarantee that I will finish it.

Btw- if anyone knows of some good Dark Angel or Roswell support groups, I'd love to join. It's sometimes hard to find people who share the same interests.
