x Cross My Heart & Hope To Spy - At fourteen years young, Namine Hikaru clearly remembers cracking a top-secret Sapphire Series NSA code when she was only four. Throughout her life so far, it's never really done her any good. But then a bombshell comes her way when she learns that she's something she's never imagined she would be - a spy. It all starts with a signature collection of Louis Vuitton suitcases that her mother mysteriously brings home from the mall, thirteen other freshman that shares the same fate as Namine's, & a top-secret academy that tells everybody that they teach advanced courses in usual subjects like Calculus & Government & Politics. But Namine and her new friends learn that the whole reason they were learning fourteen different languages & Covert Operations instead of Calculus was because they were in training to be, obviously, spies. So as the year progresses, Namine finds herself in waist-high piles of homework, an overly-flirty friendship between her & her best guy friend, & a misson that had the secrecy of the academy resting on her shoulders. FAQs About Cross My Heart & Hope to Spy!
(SPOILER ALERT! Well, if you haven't read the story yet.)

Q: Is this a good story?
A: Uhm, sure. (;

Q: What's with all the brand name dropping?
A: I like details, I guess. :D

Q: Are Namine and Ryan's parents spies?
A: Hell yeah! :D

Q: How come Ryan doesn't go to the Twilight Academy with Namine?
A: Ryan's a year younger than Nami, so he's in eighth grade. Twilight Academy doesn't teach eighth graders. (:

Q: Is Namine's family rich?
A: I guess you could say so. :D

Q: Did Namine's family move at the beginning of the story?
A: Yes, they did. From Twilight Town to Destiny Islands. I didn't want to write the whole "Oh, boo hoo! I moved!" part of the story because that's always boring to read. D: So the story takes place the day after they moved into their new beach house.

When it comes to being a loyal reviewer & friend to someone on FF, there are rules.

o1. Say thanks when someone reviews your story.
They gave the time & effort to read, rant, & review it! So a quick, simple note saying thanks will put smiles on their faces. (:

o2. Review your reviewers' stories.
They gave the time & effort. You should too. (;

o3. When they ask you for no flames, don't start start one.
Period.

o4. DON'T STEAL ANYTHING!
Oh my GOD, most of you don't even know what it's like to have your ideas stolen by other people who didn't even ask for permission! I'm the first person on FF to ever come up with a Kingdom Hearts spy story & people have taken my idea. Those people didn't even review my story, let alone ask for permission! How hard is it to send a PM saying, "Hey! I read _ & thought it was pretty awesome! I wanna ask for your permission if I could use the basic idea of _ in a story I've been thinking to write. Write back soon, _." Seriously. If you think that's hard, try tracking down an author's website like I did! I sent paragraphs asking for permission for a spy story. & if you ask, then they'll most likely to say yes! Jeez.

o5. If you ask permission for the usage of an idea, say thanks & update the original author when you post the story.
Simple as that.

o6. Review every story & chapter you read.
Everybody wants to know that you appreciate their creativity by sending a review, even if it's only one line. Try checking out new stories & review. It'll give the author a smile. & maybe you'll even make a new friend! (:

o7. Give people & their stories second chances.
It might not seem like a good story at first, probably because of how boring it is or maybe because of the bad grammar and cluttered paragraphs. They aren't perfect, & neither are you. After reading it for the first time, send a review that points out some of the mistakes so the that author can fix it. But please - don't flame. Then suggest ideas to keep the story going along. I'm sure the author will appreciate it & you will too, once you read it after all the mistakes have been fixed!

o8. Dedicate one of your stories to a great person you've met on FF.
Or, if you haven't met anyone yet, then dedicate the first few chapters to every reviewer until you meet someone! If you & your friend dedicated stories to each other (like me & lemonadeskies!), then you'll be sending out the aura that you're a really cool person who's totally nice & likes to meet new people.

o9. Review to every PM you recieve ASAP.
Okay, I admit it! I almost always break this rule. I get lazy, ahaha. (; But replying to people (especially the newbies) will make them feel like they truly belong in the FF family. :D

1o. When replying to a PM, don't just say simple things like, "lol."
It gives the person you're writing to nothing to write back! If you have a myspace or AIM like I do, then you'll know how freaking annoying it is when people do that to you! Grr! xD

(; Well, except for the fact that she isn't really my sister, but metephorically, she is. She's the first person I ever talked to on FF, & we clicked just like that. It's been over a year since we became friends we've sent DOZENS of PMs to each other. Seriously. xD She's a totally amazing person, I think you'll find her to be as interesting and supportive as I do. I'm soo UBER jealous of her because she's so popular on FF gets likee, twenty ( or more !) reviews for ONE chapter of her stories. BUT IT'S ALL GOOD ! :D I love her to freaking DEATH!
