I usually don't like talking about myself, but isn't that kind of the point of this page? Here's the basics...
I'm 34, single and I have a heavy reading habit. I average about 3-4 books a week, more if I'm bored.
I adore all things Harry Potter and Twilight. I've been trying to read more classics lately, but haven't had any time to read since I spend all my spare time writing...
The responses that I have received to Missed Connections amaze me. I have actually been inspired to start working on something original... but trust me, nothing could make me stop working on MC. I think I'm in love with my story... :)

I've been inspired by the massive response to Jayeliwood's Sexy Edward Contest and felt it was time to do a Halloween Contest. It's my second favorite time of year, second only to Christmas of course.
Here's the scoop...
This is a TRICK or TREAT contest. There will be one prize in each of those categories and one grand prize for Best Overall Story.
TRICK: This should be a humorous ONE-SHOT featuring our favorite cast of characters from Twilight. Practical Jokes, Haunted Houses and more will fit in this category. I know its easy to pick on them, but can Mike and Jessica not be the brunt of everyone's pranks? Thanks.
TREAT: This should be a fluffy ONE SHOT featuring our favorite cast of characters. Cannon characters are encouraged, but all entries will be acknowledged. Lemons are optional people, but strongly encouraged. Just like in Mean Girls, its the one time of year a girl can dress raunchy and not be a slut.
Rules:
~Must be a one shot. The one shot must be over 1500 words, excluding author's notes...should be under 10,000 words.
~If you have more than one chapter, I will not add it to the C2. If you add a second chapter, I will remove it from consideration.
~You can enter up to three stories under each topic. Blending of topics is also acceptable.
~The one shot can be in character or out of character. All human or normal. It is up to you.
~Again, Cannon Couples are encouraged.
Prizes:
First place : Each of the two categories will get a 10 Electronic Gift Card for Borders and a custom made avatar.
Second place : Each of the two categories will receive a custom made avatar
The Grand Prize... (insert drum roll please) Is a Autographed Breaking Dawn Book Plate from the Concert Series in NYC on August 1st. I am lucky enough to have two of them and am spreading my good fortune by sharing, just the way we learned in Kindergarten.
