Well hey there. My name's Alexa, I'm a 22 year old recent college graduate with a love of writing, but most particularly using characters that aren't mine, so I suppose setting myself up on this site is long overdue. I've been a reader of fanfic for a very long time, but have always been hesitant to write it, so here's to new beginnings.

Even though I like a lot of fantasy based stories, I almost always approach stories from a more slice-of-life perspective - extraordinary people in rather ordinary situations in the format of a short story.

Things to look forward to: I am not good at finishing things, obviously. I have a bunch of fics in the works even though you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at this page. There is one for The Inside that despite being short just won't write itself no matter how hard I try to convince it to. I also am working on one for Hannibal but I imagine that one is going to take a while - its a rather ambitious endeavor. And lastly, I am well into a Twilight fic centered around Renesmee, unfortunately now I can't figure out how to end it. I'm thinking of splitting it up into chapters so that I'm not constantly checking the word count, so it may go up soon in bits and pieces. So there's all this and the chapter fic that I started for Dragon's Bait. Somehow I will get it all done. Hopefully.

Update: Soooo, my computer crashed a little while ago, and I lost all the fics and unfinished chapters that I had written, so the amount of time before an update has just lengthened considerably. I really really hope that I will be able to drum up the motivation update soon, because I was really enjoying the new stuff I was coming up with, but my computer's retardedness has bummed me out. We shall see.
