Greetings, fellow fanfiction fangirls (and/or boys). I am Aerika, a 24 year old Assistant Cancer Patient Pathway Co-ordinator (and if you know what that enatils, you're doing better than me already!) from Stoke on Trent, England. I write fanfiction for D. Gray-Man here on ff.net, the only place you'll find me! I also enjoy reading Fullmetal Alchemist and Harry Potter, and am very much a slash pairing type of girl.
My main DGM pairings are Yullen/Arekan and Lucky, and in the other fandoms are RoyxEd and of course, Drarry.
I am a bit of a rock chick at heart, I love 30 Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Green Day, but I'll give most authentic bands a chance. I absolutely love music of all kinds, and go through the day with background music to everything playing in my head.
My other passions are cooking and reading.

UPDATE!! AFTER 6 MONTHS BREAK, I GOT MY MOJO BACK. HOPEFULLY THIS MEANS THAT CREDENCE WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE CHRISTMAS. I WILL TRY AND END THIS STORY SO THAT A THIRD ONE WON'T BE NEEDED TO MAKE THE SERIES FEEL COMPLETE, AS I AM NOT SURE WHETHER THE THIRD INSTALLMENT WILL BE FORTHCOMING ANYTIME SOON.

Most of my fic's are un-beta'd, but I've recently coerced my little sister Bexii_face to join the fanfiction revolution, and she's agreed to check some stuff over for me, so hopefully the few mistakes I miss will be caught by her!

I always try to reply to revews, because I LOVE THEM!! They make me all warm and fuzzy inside. Usually I reply to a review at the start of the next chapter of that story, but occasionally I will reply direct, usually when answering question regarding the storyline that may contain spoilers.

Complete Fics

A Twisted World was my very first foray into the world of FanFiction. It was the usual thing, I stumbled across the site, read a few fics and thought 'looks easy, I can do that!.' Yeah, right. As my first fic, it's not wonderful by any means and I'll be the first to admit that, although I would like to think that the writing improved as the story progresses.
Summary: "YAOI Yullen. A near-death experience for Allen leaves Kanda questioning new and decidedly awkward feelings towards the boy. Beware! Angst overload!" sounds like a masterpiece, doesn't it? ;P Anyway, this fic was completed in November 2008, has 43 chapters, which translates into about 109,633 words. Rated M.

Changing Lives is the sequel to A Twisted World and follows the characters story where the first fic left off. I really wasn't sure about doing a sequel to ATW, since I wasn't all that impressed with the storyline. In the end, CL took off with a life of its own and left me blinking and scratching my head on more than one occassion. There are a few more OCs in this fic, though no Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus (I hope).
Summary: The dreaded sequel! There's something strange going on with Allen, and it seems he isn't telling. And who is this odd character with green hair and purple eyes? What craziness is going on? Yullen fic. (I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't attempt to write a summary for these at all- they're total crap!) CL is longer than its prequel, with 32 chapters equating to 124,462 words. It was finally completed, after many delays and interuptions from real life in February 2009. Rated M.

A Twisted World Extras and Oneshots is a collection of side-stories and deleted chapters from both ATW and CL. It's marked as complete despite the fact that it isn't. There are a couple of pieces still to go in here, but I keep getting distracted by my current projects. Maybe one day I really will finish these! Rated M.

Left in the dark is inspired by MeatLoaf's song of the same title. This very short one-shot was the inspiration for the fic 'Paper Hearts'.
Summary: Meat Loaf's 'Left in the dark'.Lavi promised Allen he'd come to his room after dinner, but now it's nearly 3am and Allen's still waiting. It's only 1,554 words long and was completed February 2009.

Stillborn Tears was a strange idea that struck me one day and wouldn't leave. It's not my favourite thing ever, mainly because it's actually a Poker!Pair/Laven fic, set in modern times. It's also cliche, and hardly the best thing I've written.
Summary: Lavi and Allen have been best friends for years, only both of them long for something more, though they don't know it. Just to complicate things, Allen's long-term boyfrind Tyki is rather possessive, and he'd do anything to keep them apart. Even murder.
ST is a oneshot and was completed February 2009 and is 20,204 words long. Rated M.

Misunderstandings Make The World Go Round was a random, almost plotless bunny that struck me at Easter when I had my little sisters staying with me and needed something to take my mind off things (like killing them all). It was written and posted in a week, the fasted I've ever updated.
Summary: They had a stressful job, and it was a way to let off steam. Meaningless intimacy in the middle of a war. They weren’t lovers, they weren’t friends. Hell, they hated each other. It didn’t mean anything to either of them. Did it? This one is both AreKan and Yullen, which isn't to everyone's tastes, but needed doing, if only for self-gratification. It's cliche, sure, but hey, it's also full of sex.
A fairly short fic, MMtWGR is 9 chapters long (16,396 words) and was completed April 2009. Rated M.

Decline is my favourite fic up to date. It's a Yullen, obviously, and for a change isn't rated M until the final, epilogue chapter that was written to statisfy the urge I had to write a lemon.
Summary: Allen's slipping, and nothing he does can hide it any more. They want him taken away, locked up until he finally disappears and the Fourteenth takes his place. I absolutely adore this fic, it's my baby. The first of 3 arcs in a story called 'Moving Forward' it details the start of Allen and Kanda's relationship. It does end a bit abruptly, but that's only because it was as good a place as any to end the first part in preparation for the second.
Decline is 17 chapters long including the optional M-rated epilogue (around 63,000 words) and was completed in October 2010. Work in Progress

Credence The sequel to Decline, and the second installment in the fic collectively known as "Moving Forward" is now up and running. The first five or so chapters are giving me grief, but please bear with me, it'll improve soon!
Summary: After Decline, Allen and Kanda go their separate ways, perhaps forever. While apart, their lives move in two very different directions..
This fic has more warnings attached than anthing I've ever written! Yullen, PokerPair, impliedTykiXOC, pastTykix14th. Non-con/dub-con, torture and all that jazz.
Credence will probably be between 10 and 15 chapters long and is an M-rated fic in every sense of the classification.

On Hiatus

Paper Hearts is on hiatus for now. Despite it being a Laven fic, and the fact that as soon as I started to write it, I hated it, I really like this story now, but I started it at the wrong time and it had to be put on hold until I was feeling it again. Hopefully once I have a few chapters of my current work in progress tucked under my belt, I will turn Paper Hearts into my pet project and update it as and when I can. Until then , the Moving Forward series takes precendence.
Summary: "Lavi" was a persona, a mask to cast aside once the mission was complete.And the mission was to document the lives of those within the walls of the Black Order.“Lovers loose lips make” and Lavi wants to know everything.+
