Hello to all that may read this profile.

My name if you can not guess is Desirae.

I am 30 years old, and use this site as an escape from real life.

I am a great writer when it comes to specific subject, assign me to write an essay on almost any topic and ill have a 10,000 or more word draft to you in 24 hours, a completed 50,000 word finished essay within 7 days. Try to give me a creative writing project and well you will still be waiting for it when you are 110 years old.

But I do love fiction, I just can not write it.

Now however I do have some pet peeves when it comes to any type of writing expecially for this site:

#1- Never turn in, (or for this site) never update/post something that you have not re-read 3 times. Re-reading what you have typed will help you to catch any errors that could be as simple as "he's" that should be "she's". It will help you to make sure that what you have written flows with previous work, and that it is not repetitive.

#2- Never turn in what you have written in a hurry. Writing while tired can be as harmful to the writing's as driving while drink can be to your car.

#3- Stick to only one person per chapter (this is for this site) POV. Repeating the same topic/scene from different POV's can get annoying, and turn off most readers. Ifyou must write in different POV's for your story then make it two different chapters, WARN readers, in your story's summary, that it is going to be a multiple POV story. I know that a lot of writers try the POV trick to increase their word count and chapter length. That is annoying and kind of lazy. If your story is good then no matter the size it will remain good without the increased length.

#4- A/N's as a whole chapter/update. That is a big no no. Not only does it get our hopes up when we check our email, but it severely disappoints us when we finally click on the link to find a tacky note. Honestly we put a story on our alert lists so that we will get notified when and if you update again. We understand that even if a story was updated weekly religiously for 30 + chapters that there might be a few that just are not done on the weekly schedule due to many things. If we are truly worried we would check your profile page to see if you had added anything there. And that is actually where story status issues should be located.

#5- This site is owned and operated on donations and the advertising banners, and the site owners own money from their personal income. They are offering all of us a FREE place to enjoy different takes, continuations, and what might of happened, to already created books, movies, and TV shows to name a few. The site administrator's ask for so little in return. Very simple guidelines. For writers they ask that you edit to the best of your ability (and everyone of you has the ability to find a BETA) to edit your work before posting. They ask that you not make announcement/AN's as chapters, and they ask that you follow their rating codes. Those are very simple things to ask for. It shows great disrespect to not only the site but to every member and guest that visits this site when you don't make a valid effort to follow those rules.

For readers they ask that reviews be constructive if you have found a problem ( I freely admit that I have not always followed this, very bad me and when that happens I fell guilty and donate to the site to make up for it so far I am up to $100.00 USD in donations $10.00 USD every time to help make up for the disrespect I have shown.)

#6 Demanding a certain number of reviews before you post another chapter. I despise that and will let the writer know wether polite or not. It make writers seem like 2 year olds in need of hand holding, its childish and petty. But if they dont want their story to be sucessfull then that is up to them.

I review darn near everything I read wether I like it or not 99 percent of the time I am very polite when I review what I consider a bad story. I have already admitted that sometimes I get nasty its a flaw but we humans all have flaws so i don't consider it a huge deal lol.
