| Dranatic-Snitch |
Author has written 4 stories for Naruto, and Death Note. Heyas, I'm Dranatic-Snitch :P I spelt my name wrong when registering so, it's meant to be Dramatic-Snitch, but hey, this spelling's more original =) Hmmm, some facts about me... I'm slightly odd. Okay, sometimes I can be totally insane...in a good way, of course. I don't really fit in with the people at my school, but hey, who says you need to fit to get along? My age is somewhere around the mid-teens and I live in the UK, specific enough I suppose. Oh yeah, and I'm a girl XD I enjoy lots of things, especially music. Without music, I'd be so much more intolerable to be around. Yes, my iPod makes me happy...we have a strange, unconventional relationship that you mere mortals could never understand o.O I've loved all the anime and manga that I've read so far, and there's still so much more out there. I particularly read Yaoi & Shounen-Ai, but please don't hold that against me, I'm honestly not a fangirl, though I have my moments '. I'm NOT in in purely for 'Teh Hot Buttsecks'; that's just an added bonus _. I prefer plots other than the cliched high-school boy x boy scenario - no offence to those who've written great, In-Character high-school fics (which I've probably enjoyed immensely). I patricularly like to read fics that delve deep into the character's head, and expose very twisted and psychologically fucked up relationships, because to me there's nothing more irritating than glossing over the facts in order to shape the characters into Prozac-addicted, unrecognisable fluff bunnies. I love comedy, and would say that I appreciate most forms of it, from fart jokes to Slapstick to dry, sarcastic wit. I'd like to say that I am extremely funny and enlightening to be around, but that'd just be a plain lie -_- I watch lots of television, because it involves little/no exercise (and although I'm by no means overweight, I am NOT fit. I'm an incredibly lazy being). My favourite shows are probably: - Supernatural: I love the dynamic between the two brothers (NOT in an incestial way. No offence, but I hate incest fics as much as I do shotacon and lolicon.) I find the characters really endearing, the music in the show kicks arse and then there's the werewolves, vampires, skin-walkers and other extremely interesting creatures. - South Park: What can I say, except that it's an awesome show. Sure, I prefer the older seasons, where they were just kids being kids, but South Park remains my Number One comedy show. I've scoured the internet for episodes (because I live in frickin' England, I can't watch them on southparkstudios -_-) and have watched every single one. What's more, I actually bought the DVDs. If you knew me, you'd know what a HUGE deal that is. - Black Books: An excellent comedy sitcom. Brilliant example of British humour. Shame it only ran for three series, as I could see much more potential in it, but it was probably for the best. Wish I knew a 'Bernard' in my everyday life. If you haven't seen this program, I recommend you check it out. It's one of those rare, under-appreciated gems that rarely seem to get repeated on TV. - The Young Ones: Superb 80's British comedy at its best. Unfortunately I was born in the lame decade after the 80's, but thanks to the wonder of the internet, I gladly stumbled upon it on YouTube. Surreal, bizarre, random, ground-breaking and supremely hilarious. 'Nuff said. - The IT Crowd: An uncommon 'Modern' comedy sitcom which is actually funny. Well, not the American attempt at a remake. That completely sucked. No offence intended, but America needs to stop trying to imitate British humour. It doesn't translate well. American shows are mostly better than English ones these days anyways, so stick to what ya know. Moss is a legend. I love everything I've seen from Graham Lineham, including Father Ted. That was another excellent show. - The Big Bang Theory: I only watched this because I was bored one night/early morning and was surfing through Virgin Media's On Demand service. I read the summary to this show, expecting a terrible, unfunny, awkward 'comedy' show. I was wrong. Love all the characters. Everybody knows someone like Leonard, and Sheldon is such an endearing turd. - 8 Out of 10 Cats: I love panel shows. I don't know why, but I do. I especially love this one because it's so brilliantly witty. Favourite quote so far has to be from Frankie Boyle: "In the middle of a thunderstorm, I like to shag my girlfriend and pretend it's the conception of the Anti-Christ...I hope she's not watching this, especially since she's pregnant..." - Nevermind the Buzzcocks: Ah, two of my great loves combined, comedic panel shows and music. This was always gonna be a favourite of mine. It was predetermined destiny XD - Mock the Week: I love satire, sarcasm and generally taking the piss out of everything to do with modern culture. It's simply unmissable viewing. - Blood Ties: Hot vampire. That is all. The above shows are merely a small portion of the television I watch. I also watch various terrible soaps (out of habit), sketch shows, other panel shows, list shows are my all-time faves...I love the annual countdown of 'Most Annoying People of 200_'. I can only conclude that those who write these lists are not aware of my existence. Yet. My favourite films are: High Fidelity Fight Club Rushmore The Devil's Advocate You've Got Mail Spider-Man 2 Iron Man I would list my favourite music, but I'd be here all night. Suffice to say that I currently have 767 songs on my iPod, and that's not anywhere near the amount I'd own if I could. My absolute favourite band is probably Fall Out Boy. Sneer all you want at 'Sell Out Boy' as they've been dubbed, but at least I don't pretend to enjoy the 'experimental' indie NME-endorsed crap or whatever's popular in the charts for the sake of seeming cool and 'hip' or whatever the buzz word for 'arsehole' is these days. And NO, I'm not an emo. I don't think that they have a classification for me quite yet... And now we come to Anime & Manga. I generally tend to read more manga than I watch anime. - Black Cat - Naruto - Bleach - Bitter Virgin - Complex - Hikaru no Go - Fullmetal Alchemist - Death Note - Love Hina - Various 'The Legend of Zelda' Mangas - Desire Climax - Help!! - Alive! - Absolute Boyfriend - Making Love Like Newlyweds - Don't Call Me Master - 13 - Allure I watched most of the Naruto anime, and began watching Shippuden. I've just started watching Black Cat & Bleach . I always watched the whole of Ai no Kusabi, but it's a bit explicit (just a warning ). Also watched most of Death Note =D I've read a helluvalot of books. Again, I'm not gonna waste time listing them, because I can't even recollect most of the books I've read, much less write them down... Think that just about covers everything you probably don't wanna know about me, but if by some stretch of the imagination you actually want to find out more about me (not like that!), then you can drop me a line, just not literally. Y'all know what I mean =D Hope you enjoy my fics... | |||||||
