Extract from chapter: Alex crashed to the floor, wincing as a spasm of pain erupted from his left arm which he’d landed painfully on top of. He lay still for a moment, thankful that he had a high tolerance for pain, before rolling away as Walker reached for him and gracefully got to his feet. Alex backed away from his opponent, eyeing several pressure points he could use to gain advantage. If he could incapicate the man for just a few second, that was all he needed. Walker approached him again and tried another punch, which Alex easily avoided. Alex retaliated with a palm-thrust to the former spy’s nose.. Walker’s nose began to bleed, and while Alex’s blow would’ve been enough to kill a full-grown man - the American seemed to be oblivious and instead took the opportunity to deliver a punch to Alex’s jaw. Alex flew through the air and landed, using his arms to brace his fall. He was thankful that Walker had missed the fleshy area under his jaw which would’ve knocked him out instantly, but his jaw still hurt like hell. Shaking his head to get rid of the black spots in his vision, Alex used his hands to spring himself up back on his feet. Deciding that it was time for more desperate measures, Alex ran up towards Walker and did a roundhouse kick aimed at the man’s solar plexus which was somehow avoided by the larger man. He laughed at Alex’s attempt, but Alex was still moving, bringing his other knee up as his right leg touched the ground and kneed the former CIA agent as hard as he could in the groin. The man grunted in pain as he fell to his knees. “Stop!” The Rider Identity STATUS: OH HOLD Prologue, 2 Chapters - Things are pretty simple, it's a routine mission (well at least for Alex) and nothing's suppose to go wrong. Except, everything does and Alex loses his memory. He's taken in by two strangers and all of a sudden there's these strange men after Alex. How are they linked to his past? Who sent them? And why can't anyone give a poor kid a break? What has Alex discovered that causes everyone to turn against him? And why are these two strangers a link to his past? Upcoming Chapter: Alex has a nightmare and is unsure whether it is true or not. “Go ahead then, if that’s what you want. Shoot me!” Alex though that his otherself must’ve gone mad. Surely he would not be so stupid…? The general’s eyes flickered over to where the car had last been seen, then back to Alex, “Why…?” “I’d rather be dead then have a father like you.” Father?! There were voices yelling out, yet all Alex seemed focused on was the general. “Goodbye, Alex.” The man said finally. He raised the gun and fired a single shot. Blood and gore sprayed over Alex as he turned to look away… Present-day Alex woke up with a start. This Means War! STATUS: IN PROGRESS 7 Chapters - Alex Rider isn't happy. He isn'y happy at all.
