Author has written 29 stories for Andromeda, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, StarTrek: Voyager, Seven Days, Harry Potter, Third Watch, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, and Stargate: Atlantis.

Hi everyone! Welcome to my bio page. Apparently, I'm supposed to tell you all interesting things about myself, but I can't think of anything so you'll just have to deal with the truth.

In every spare second that I have, I watch Star Trek reruns, Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Atlantis and I write. Huh? What social life? Who needs a social life? I've been writing since I was in grade five and the very first story I wrote was something that was supposed to be half a page long and about my summer vacation. Since my vacation had been boring, I made up this long, exciting story about vampires and ghosts etc, and it ended up being twelve pages long. For some reason, my teacher was not pleased and said that I should learn to tone down my imagination and write less. Needless to say, I've never heeded her advice and the results are the stories you see below.

I started out writing Andromeda fanfic, but then started writing down some of the Star Trek and Seven Days plot bunnies which had been running around in my head for years. I also spent some time exploring the Harry Potter fandom and have just stumbled into the Stargate Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica realms and have already been attacked by a bucketful of BSG and SGA plot bunnies. What becomes of these plot bunnies remains to be seen.

I write mostly sci-fi and fantasy fics which tend to be long and angsty so if you're looking for humor you won't find a lot of it (but I have made some attempts). Have fun exploring the deranged ramblings of my imagination and feel free to yell at me or laugh at me in your reviews!

QUOTES:

"Life isn't about holding good cards, but it's about playing those you hold well."

"For a writer, a pen is their soul and the paper upon which they write is the undiscovered territory of other people's souls."

"It takes courage to look inside yourself, and even more courage to write it down for other people to see." - Benjamin Sisko, ST:DS9

UPDATE August 2008:

As we all know, we move into and out of fandoms like pollen in the wind...or something. I've gotten much more involved in the SGA fandom in recent times and I'm afraid that my 'Path' trilogy is once more on the back burner. I have no idea when or even if I will continue with it. If I have not updated in about a year from now, I will put up a summary of what I would have written so the people who really want to know what I had planned aren't left hanging.

UPDATE October 2007:

While answering feedback on my 'Path' trilogy, I've noticed that some questions pop up quite frequently. In order to spare myself repetitive writing and to save space in my author notes, I've put up the answers to some of these questions as essays on my website. Right now there is an essay detailing my opinions on DH, and another one explaining why the Snape in my story dislikes Harry so much. More essays will be added when time permits and when more questions becomes 'frequent'. Enjoy!

UPDATE January 2007:

I just finished putting up my own website on which you can find nicely formatted versions of all the stories below (except the HP ones, those are coming soon), including any NC-17 fics which I can't post here. As an alternative, you can get to the fics from my LJ page too where I put links to all the fics on my website and you can leave me feedback there: http://diamond-raven.livejournal.com
