Author has written 2 stories for Fushigi Yuugi, and Sailor Moon.

I've been asked a few times why I write under two pennames. It occurs to me I should just explain on my profile and save myself some hassle of repeating myself. It's really simple, actually. I had one website under geocities on which I posted my fanfiction (and some unfinished original work). It was pretty much full-up. But I still had lots of stories I wanted to write in some new anime genres I'd recently gotten interested in. Namely, Inuyasha, Yugioh, and Peach Girl. I also wanted to try my hand at more adult oriented stories and figured I could branch out under the new name while keeping my first one somewhat more ... I dunno, kid-friendly? Of course, that's changed a bit since then. I've written adult-oriented stories under both pennames now.

Anyway, I made a second yahoo email address, took the name Quickening, and set up a second website to begin writing and posting these stories under that name. It helps me keep track of things this way. I have/had both sites linked together. I never openly advertised that I and Quickening are the same person, but I never deliberately hid it, either. A number of people who know me by this penname also know I write under that one, as well. Mainly 'cause I outright told them.

I just find it highly ironic that the entire reason I even took a second name is disappearing now. Honestly, I'd go back to posting all of my stories under this account, since this is pretty much my entire online identity, but I know how THAT will play out. There will be screams of "Plagiarism!" and I'll be reported for stealing my own stories and get my accounts banned (well, probably not. We all know how on-the-ball the admins are on THIS site. Pfft). And basically it'll be a whole lot more trouble than I care to deal with, 'cause not everyone actually reads these profiles. So, I'll just keep posting the stories I've written under their respective names and accounts, and hope people can figure out the rest for themselves.

Well, ain't this a bitch. My websites are being shut down next week. Yahoo has decided to close down geocities, which means both sites of mine (one for each penname) and everything on them are going bye-bye. I suppose if I switched over to the pay version I could keep them but frankly, I don't want to sink money into posting fanfiction when there are plenty of sites out there to post it for free. Unfortunately, I have yet to find more free webhosting that doesn't require extensive HTML knowledge (of which I have none), so I won't be able to display the pretty fanart people have given me or the online awards I've won, which is kind of a bum.

As for stories, there is Mediaminer, but lately it has become very obnoxious with story-posting. Chapters not showing up, or showing up mangled, ect ... Not sure if it's the site or my computer that is having issues, but either way, it's more work to get a story up than I care to deal with. So. By virtue of me being cheap and lazy, I'll most likely start reposting my stories on this site again. At least the finished ones. And any I am currently working on. But mostly the finished ones.

Yes, this site may be overrun by lunatics and other scary people (No, not you. The other scary people). Yes, it may be the laughingstock of the entire fanfiction community (no, really, you should see some of the stuff posted about it on other sites ...). And yes, the admins may have all the skill of intoxicated goats in searching and destroying the obnoxious individuals that make this site a laughingstock. But I do have to admit, this place has some of the most exasperation-free uploading features of any fanfiction site on the web. It almost makes it worth bumping heads with the lunatics every once in awhile.

And ... I kinda missed all the nice reviews, too.
