Well what can I say about myself, I am a 40 something lady (a loose term) who resides somewhere in Atlantic Canada. I have been browsing thru the fanfiction sites for awhile now, and I have been writing original and fanfiction stories for quite awhile now, but mostly for my own enjoyment. Hopefully I will get some of my stuff organized on the computer and get up the nerve to post them here, right now my stuff is all written in longhand with lots of spelling mistakes. I just have to find some time from work and my volunteer work to actually sit down at the computer and type/edit my stuff. So hopefully soon.
I just thought that I would add a little more info about myself - I'm from a family of six - 4 girls and 2 boys and we grew up on a dairy farm in Atlantic Canada, 1 sister, 1 brother and myself wear hearing aids (my older brother did as well before his death) so I thought that wearing hearing aids was normal until I went to school and found out that I was the odd one (talk about culture shock). Anyway we all went to Sunday school, Youth group, 4-H clubs - you know - the usual kid stuff.
My sisters are all married with kids, my older brother is deceased - liver disease, my younger brother and myself are still footloose and fancy free. But someday my prince will come (tongue in cheek). Oh and if you haven't already done so I encourage everyone to sign their donor's cards - organ donation is so important and dear to my heart.
And I am also a 4-H leader along with my mom (50 years as a leader) and two of my sisters - my projects are cake decorating and dog obedience and have had some great kids over the past 7 years as leader. 4-H can be a lot of work but it is great way for kids to have fun and learn how to do different things i.e. crafts, sewing, foods, outdoorsmen just to name a few projects. I have been involved with 4-H since I was 8 years old (can't you tell).
I also love to cook and bake, but absolutely hate to clean, so my brother and I have a understanding - I cook and he cleans, lol.
