Author has written 23 stories for Harry Potter, Sherlock, Doctor Who, White Collar, Protector of the Small Quartet, Circle of Magic, Song of the Lioness, and Supernatural.

Age: 20

Gender: Female

About My Accounts: Given that I don't have the time or energy to post everything I write here, from this point on all Tamora Pierce fic will be published solely at The King's Own, a fabulous archive specifically for that fandom. My pseudonym there is Sidonie. That's also the name I go by at Archive of Our Own, which may soon become my primary publishing venue, as I've fallen in love with the formatting. As to where that leaves this account, I'm not entirely certain; for now, nothing will be deleted, and any WIPs I continue or finish will get updated, but once those are done this may well become a dead account. Fair warning.

About Me: I'm a college student from Montana (originally), a nerd and a geek hoping to double major in Music and English. I love writing, but often have a hard time finishing stories. I love fantasy especially.

I have quite a few fandoms, including Doctor Who, Torchwood, White Collar, Glee, Sherlock, Merlin, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Harry Potter, Supernatural, anything Shakespeare, anything Tamora Pierce, and many, many more.

In general, I like good writing, with good punctuation, grammar, vocab, etc. I love character study, and in-character writing is really important to me. I love reviews, so I'll try to leave them as often as possible. If I do get anything posted, please please please take the time to review it. You'll earn my undying gratitude.

I tend to write slash pairings, but I have plenty of het ships as well, and even a couple leaning toward OT3s.

I generally love complex, slightly (or very) dark characters, which occasionally puts me out of the mainstream in the fandom. For example, my favorite character in Angel? Lindsey MacDonald. Doctor Who? The Master. Yeah.

Projects: You can see what I've already posted below, but here I'll list some of the things I'm cooking up in my secret underground writing lab (a.k.a. my laptop). Note that most of the things I have posted are also works in progress (because, as stated above, I am terrible at finishing things). In fact, I'm mostly creating this list to encourage myself to follow through. Anyways, here are the ideas lurking half-formed in the depths of my hard drive:

Reparations - the sequel to my HP fic, set many years later after Hogwarts. Started as an attempt to explain where the hell the wife mentioned in the epilogue came from, so it's also Draco/OC. Involves lawyer!Draco, dealing with the aftermath of the war, politics, anti-Muggle vitriol, and angst. Lots of it. May need serious restructuring, so currently on hold.

He Plays the Violin (working title) - a Sherlock fic, possibly linked to/a continuation of Controlled Experiments, but I haven't actually done the work of linking them, so they may well end up as separate stories. Deals with Sherlock and his violin. Contains emotional!Sherlock, which I almost feel dirty for, but I'm trying to make it sensical. Sherlock/John, of course.

Lessons in Control (working title) - a Farsala Trilogy fic, set after the books (but not by much), focusing on Kavi's struggle to control his newfound shilshadu and Soraya's life with the Suud, helping them integrate into Farsalan society. Of course those paths cross when Kavi goes to her for training. Deals with lots of politics, magic, and some romance. Kavi/Soraya.

Untitled (real title TBA) - a Doctor Who Academy fic. Could be a very long-term deal, as part of me wants to chronicle basically all of Theta and Koschei's time at the Academy together. Has a kind of HP feel to it, what with the school and the young friends and the magic/science and such, but I think I have a good enough grasp on their (very different) voices to keep it from drifting into copycat mode. Will inevitably concern lots of slacking off from classes, the application of genius to less respectable pursuits, and accompanying shenanigans, so in that sense very light. On the other hand, deals with an oppressive, decaying society, the growing influence of Koschei's drums, and other angsty things. Definitely Theta/Koschei.

Slings and Arrows: Season Four (may be retitled) - my most ambitious project, a complete write-up of the fourth season of the Canadian show Slings and Arrows (which is the love of my life). After part of the company moves to Montreal with Geoffrey and Ellen, they restart the Theater Sans Argent and decide to put on Othello. Like the show, I'm attempting to incorporate major events and themes of the play into the lives of the actors, so the season will deal with jealousy, insecurity, and the nature of honesty and lies. I also plan to explore racism (obviously) and, perhaps most importantly, homophobia, because I read Iago as gay and it's a subject I'd like to address. Like the show, it will be fundamentally dark (edging on black) comedy, with an equal balance of wacky fun times and really angsty bits. Will contain gratuitous use of/fangirling over Shakespeare, including large amounts of textual and performance analysis. Geoffrey/Ellen, Sophie/Paul, Frank/Cyril, and a bunch of OCs thrown into the mix.

I have some other tiny seed ideas, but these are the ones that actually have a chance of being posted someday. Feel free to message me if you have questions.

Anyway, thanks for reading this far! I hope you enjoy my work.

If you want to read other works by me, I have an account under the same name at fictionpress.com for my original stories and poems (i.e. not based on what others have written).
