The Hunger Games: The third book ruined the series for me.

*Galeniss/Everthorne — Gale Hawthorne x Katniss Everdeen* : Literally, from the moment I first delved into the books and until the last possible second, I truly believed they were meant to be and that the authour wholeheartedly agreed. But, obviously, that wasn't the case. Honestly, I've never been a fan of Peeta. No, I don't hate him, but I really wasn't much interested in his character until, ironically, the final book, where he kind of lost it. I mean, this kid, who has basically never talked to Katniss in her entire life, except for one incident, shows up one day and says he loves her. Okay, so maybe he's a romantic. Fine. But what bugs me most about how things turned out was the handling of Gale. I was so pissed off at Katniss. Because, even though there was no proof and nothing tying him to that incident, save for the fact that he designed the bombs, you claim he killed your sister? REALLY? And all the rabid Peeniss shippers just love throwing this in people's faces. But, the thing is, it's completely untrue. It never was confirmed, and why on Earth would Gale do such a thing? Kill the sister of the girl he loves, who's been his best friend for how many years, and whose family he cares for like his own? Yea. Makes total sense. And he's just thrown out of the picture entirely. After years of friendship and watching each others' backs. What happened to, "Gale is mine. I am his. Anything else is unthinkable."? So, if not for this whole situation, Peeta/Katniss would not have bothered me so. I mean, I understand the reasoning behind it and I do find it cute sometimes, but using that sort of method to oust Peeta's opponent in love... Come on now.

But, I thought it was really sweet of Brock to back off when he saw that Suzy and Zane knew each other better. But still...
