So I finally decided to do my profile. I never have before because it's really kind of boring. I am a stay at home mom of two preschoolers. So my life is pretty busy. Between karate, swimming, soccer, baseball, and preschool, I have kind of lost myself. Then I found Twilight! I was saved. I immediately read all of the books several times. Stephenie's writing got me thinking about my own writing.
From the time I was a teenager I had been writing, but since having my kids I had let it all go. After reading Twilight, I suddenly felt like I wanted to write again. I first started back on something that I had started 10 years ago. It has nothing to do with Twilight, but someday I will finish it. Then when they started to film Twilight, I was wondering one day if they made all of them, were they going to bridge the gap between Twilight and New Moon?? So I wrote a one shot, Good for the Goose, about the day after the prom. I tried very hard to keep all the characters in line with Stephenie Meyer.
By this time, I had become fascinated with all Twilight fanfic. There were so many of my fabulous Twilight Moms (blondie, LindaRooo, Marcy and psymom just to name a few) who were writing some great stuff and I had become friends with many of them. One day Admittedly Obsessed contacted me to beta something that she had written. And I went a step too far and started making some suggestions, well, you know the story...Passion Fish was born.
AO and I, while we live on opposite sides of the country, have become friends and are in contact constantly. We are having so much fun planning this whole thing out, and it is planned out, so all of your suggestions are welcome, but probably won't change the outcome! We know where the boat is going..don't you worry.
So, right now I am working on collaborative effort, but who knows what will happen in the future. I really like being able to bounce ideas off someone else and hear what they have to say, so I am nervous that when PF is done, if I will be able to go at it alone again?? I have some ideas, but I also know that AO has some too. I think that we may be working together again??
