Probably a little too old to be enjoying video games and anime, but I'm the first to admit that whenever I have free time the first thing I do is jump to my PS3. n_n

Things about my writing you ought to know:
I tend to write using dark, emotional themes; maybe I'm some sort of sadist, but I can't write fluffly romance and humour to save my life. I don't think I could write a perfect, happy-go-lucky ending if I tried. That being said, I tend, as you may or may not know from my fics, to write from things that are inspired by my own life, or things that I have come into contact to in my life (I have a degree in Pharmaceuticals and am definitely going into the medical field). Because, as I have had one of my characters say, we humans can only truly understand what we've experienced. And I try let that understanding flourish, mainly in my writing, because I'm a firm believer in writing out what I know and want to express. I work hard at trying to write eloquently, even if my fics border on the darkest aspects of fanfiction, and I really appreciate everyone who's taken the time to read my writing! (:

Also... I used to have some older fics on this site, namely for several Anime fandoms since which I have taken down. They were super old, from some four years ago, and I've since lost not only my inspiration but also the story outlines for them, and so all the fics you see now are current fics that I've started writing since I came back to this site in March 2012.

On a lighter note:
As you can probably see, Final Fantasy is a big inspiration in my life, namely, Final Fantasies VII, X, and XIII. The game series has been part of my life ever since I was the ten year old who played FFVII for the very first time on a PS1, and has stayed with me until now, as the person for whom which FFXIII came at a time of personal difficulty, and which, has also become my personal favourite in the series. My other gaming pastimes include: Pokemon, Golden Sun, Fire Emblem, TWEWY, The 3rd Birthday, Eternal Sonata, Kingdom Hearts, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, amongst many other singular titles I haven't the brainpower to list out at this moment.

And in crazy fangirl obsessed mode:
I'm the first to admit I like Lightning (FFXIII) a little too much to be healthy, to the point where none of my friends want to be in the same room as I am when I'm talking about her (which, again, is a little too often). None of you probably want to hear the list of merchandise of her that I own, but let's just say my "Things of Lightning" totals over $750 CDN. Uhm, yeah. I'm totally normal.
Lightning aside, my other character obsessions include Cloud Strife and Zack Fair from FFVII, Rikku from FFX, and Neku Sakuraba from TWEWY.

And, oh, I'm also totally cool if you guys want to add me on some social networking site, lol. Personally, I prefer MSN (yes, I'm old enough to be that that was the dominating thing in online chat when I graduated high school), but I can't deny the er, power? of social networking. Just PM me. n_n

My Fanfics (oneshots aside):

Current Fics:
Revenant Wings, the sequel to Nascent Requiem, centered around many of the same themes its predecessor had. Set three months after the end of NR, this time, we delve into the budding relationship between Hope and Light; their indecisiveness, and the lingering question of "what are we?" all while fighting something else that seems intent of wreaking havoc in the world. Rated M for the same things as NR was.

Completed Fics:
Nascent Requiem, a post-Final Fantasy XIII, my own take on a "Final Fantasy XIII-2", if you will. Adventure and character development centered, with the surprising sprig of Hoperai at the end, along with tear jerking chapters and badass fights, this was the first full length fic that I put up with the intention of finishing. (: It's also rated M, but not for the same things that Unwritten is rated for: language, violence & associated darker themes, and heavy emotional content.

Unwritten, a Final Fantasy XIII AU centered around the SerahxSnow pairing. Quite dark, with themes involving: child abuse, violence, death, gangsterism., language... definitely not for those who don't like darker themes, and definitely M rated. Centered around the story of abandonment and betrayal, will Serah finally find happiness... and her sister?
There will also be a sequel to Unwritten for sure - I don't want to say too much about it other than the fact that it's a sequel and it's going to be Hoperai.
