Roo: Hello! I am a 27-year-old happilied married graduate student in the medical field. I discovered the Twilight series during Thanksgiving break in ’06. I’d checked the audio book out from the local library so I’d have something to listen to as I drove across the state to visit family. We met on the Twilight Lexicon’s message boards in spring of 2007. We became fast friends with ECABS (author of “The Birds and the Bees,”) and UnicornGoddess95 (author of “The Birds and the Bees: Emmett Style!”). The wonderful Wendi often beta read for us. Our favorite hobby, when we were on the Lex, was to post only in limerick form on Fridays, and to resurrect the welcome threads of the mods and admins, enthusiastically welcoming them to the Lex. Oh! The good times on the Lex! Skit threads! Limerick threads! Karaoke threads! Vampire mating…er…never mind.

Roo: I've actually met Stephenie, at the post-prom Jacob Black party in Phoenix last year, and was shocked when she said "Oh! You're Roo. Yeah. I know who you and Marcy are. I lurk on the Lexicon. You guys are funny. But I don't go anywhere near those crazy sex threads!" So I asked her if she'd do me a favor and CALL Marcy, even though it was 2:00 a.m. Marcy's time. Imagine Marcy's reaction when she heard "Hi Marcy! This is Stephenie Meyer. I know this is crazy for me to call you at this hour, but your friend Roo insisted that you'd like to talk to me."

Marcy: That whole evening was crazy! My husband JUMPED out of bed thinking that a middle of night phone call meant something awful must have happened. He was... irked when after I hung up the phone with the worlds greatest (and nicest, incidentally)author that I LITERALLY hopped around the house for a minute, squealing like a little kid!

We’ve recently switched over to a different fandom Forum called “Twilight Moms.” It’s AWESOME. We’ve met so many great people over there!

After months of talking about it, we’ve finally decided to write a fanfic together. Fanfic.net has become overrun with countless poorly written and completely implausible crackfics. We thought what the fanbase really needed is a WELL written, completely implausable crackfic. We mulled over ridiculous, awful, totally far-out AU fanfic concepts, and this one was the worst we could come up with.
