Author has written 26 stories for Slam Dunk. I haven't been writing ANYTHING at all and so it follows that my fics will probably not be updated anytime soon. Yeah, I know, how sucky. I love Mitsui, still, after so many years. My obsessions: Julian Barnes, Joaquin Phoenix, Jay Chou and Veronica Mars. Julian Barnes is the best writer alive; I love his thought-provoking novels and the way he deftly shuffles between Elegance and Satire. Some people (i.e. stupid people) have said that he can't do satire, but dude, whoever says that is clearly not capable of reading. "England, England" was the funniest AND most poignant and profound novel I read in the year 2004. Joaquin Phoenix is the best actor alive. I've been in love with him since October 21, 2000, when he went punk rock for his memorable role in that crappy movie 8MM. I had a thing for the punk look and so when he appeared I immediately took notice, but I fell for him when his character died because it was the most convincing death scene from a hot actor I've ever seen. Prior to that I functioned under the assumption that all good-looking actors cannot act; Joaquin proved me wrong. And he's also vegan and I love my men with a big heart so that's a major plus-factor for me, too. Jay Chou is the best singer/songwriter alive. I love his songs (although his latest album treads dangerously close to 'crap' territory), I love his voice and I love his Chinese-ness. People don't believe me when I tell them that I primarily listen to alternative rock because everyone who knows me knows that I love Jay Chou, but hey, do I look like I care? Being a huge Jielun fan also helped me improve my Chinese. How sweet. Veronica Mars is the best TV show ever. I LOVE IT TO BITS AND PIECES. I've watched the first season six times and each time in chronological order and I'm still not even slightly sick of it yet. It's awesome awesome awesome. Sharp writing, brilliant character development, impeccable acting. My god, I don't know what I'd do without this show. And of course, because it's actually quality TV, no one in America is watching it which means its ratings suck crap which means it's always teetering on the edge of cancellation and that pisses me off. People who watch and seriously enjoy The OC should all jump off a bridge. Anyway, one of my favourite VM quotes (out of a million others): "You got a trophy for a rim job?" I love how dirty the dialogue sounds when taken out of context. Bwahaha. Apart from that, I'm 20 this year and in law school and law school kills creativity. Yep, that's my excuse. (What do you mean, volenti non fit injuria?) The bright side to law school is that I know two or three Latin phrases. That's about it. As you can see, I write only Slam Dunk fics. I would write VM fics except...nah. I worship Mitsui/Rukawa, can tolerate Mitsui/Sendoh but HATE HATE HAAAATERukawa/Sakuragi because in my humble opinion, it's just WRONG. (Sorry 'shippers.) As for what I think are my better fics...um, none. Seriously. They all suck. Don't even bother reading them; you'd just waste your time.
