Author has written 14 stories for Bones, Grey's Anatomy, and CSI: New York. First of all, thanks for stopping by my profile! I hope that means you are reading and enjoying my stories, or that I'm reading and enjoying one of yours! I know I have a lot of stories posted right now that are still 'in progress'. I promise that each of these stories will be finished in good time, even if they appear at the moment to have been abandoned. That isn't the case, and I would never leave you all hanging permanently! I just seem to get these creative spurts where all my energy wants to flow to one particular story, so that's how my writing goes - lots for one story for a while, then it tapers off as another picks up, then that one slows down as I move back to another older story, and so on and so forth. It's not the best way to write, I'm sure, but it's what works for me right now. I do make every effort not to begin publishing a story unless I have at least sketched out five chapters, often more. If I start something, I want you to know that it has a clear direction (clear to me, anyway - I make no promises that everything will be clear to readers after only a few chapters!). That said, my storylines are constantly being tweaked and polished as the chapters come together. I also don't tend to write more than three or four chapters ahead of what I have published. My point is, if you have suggestions and/or requests for a direction you think I should go in or a pairing you'd like to see developed in any particular story, I'm always happy to hear it - send me a PM or, better yet, leave it in a review! I can't make any guarantees that I'll be able to incorporate everything, but I do read and respond to every review and have on several occasions been able to work in my readers' requests. I suppose this is the part where I tell you a bit about myself, right? I'm female, somewhere in my twenties, located in sunny California. By day, I'm an office manager; by night, a fanatical writer. I write fan fiction and my own fiction, although I'm no where near ready to share the latter just yet. I've got a lengthy list of shows that I love, both current and past, although I've only ever written for three of them - Bones, Grey's Anatomy and CSI:NY. I don't go the movies often, but I love curling up and watching a good classic film - Casablanca, The Philadelphia Story, It Happened One Night, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (the original, not the remake), My Girl Friday...they just don't make 'em like they used to, do they? Much to the surprise of many who know me, I am a huge country music fan. Go ahead, make your jokes if you'd like, but it's what I enjoy listening to. If you've read any of the songfics I've posted on this site, chances are you already guessed that little tidbit! But you're here because you want more information on my stories, right? Well, here you go... CSI: NY... Everything Changes - my latest story in terms of publication date, but something I've been working on for quite some time and have recently adapted to fit the post-season 5 story line. Most of the major characters will appear, but the main foci will be Lindsay and Flack (not as a pairing, just as the two characters who will be explored most in the story). Something To Be Proud Of - all I can say is, this story has developed quite nicely to include what I think is my favorite pairing ever, and one that I am disappointed I haven't seen in more stories beyond this one: Samantha Flack (yes, Don's little sister) and Adam Ross. They're just so perfect together! What If It's You - this story began as a simple songfic inspired by the big Flack/Angell kiss early this past season. This was, in essense, a Fiesta writer's response to that episode; at least, that's what it began as. I've expanded it into an interesting little experiment, with each chapter based on a different song from my personal playlist. I really think of this one as more of a collection of one-shots than a true chaptered story, though, so it isn't updated as regularly. You Can't Not Have One - like What If It's You, I think of this as more of a collection of one-shots. Unlike that story, though, this one is not songfics. I love stories that explore aspects of all the different characters, which is exactly what this is. Each chapter focuses on a different character's birthday, based on the logic that, no matter how hard you might like to pretend you don't, everyone has a birthday that deserves to be recognized. Ten Double Zero - my very first CSI:NY story! A little dramatic at the beginning, with quite a few twists and shocks, but I thought this one was a fun ride for me as a writer, and hopefully for you as readers as well. I'm working on an epilogue and contemplating the idea of a sequel, although right now that's really no more than a little bubble in the back of my mind, so don't look for anything too soon. I've got too many other things going to even think much about it right now. Grey's Anatomy... Chasing a Ghost - the follow-up story to One Day Closer To You. I am loving where I am in this story - finally getting to the meat of the story, to the plot developments that I feel truly make this story unique and original. I haven't seen a single other story that truly explores Ellis' past and how she ended up as the woman that she was. To me, how Ellis ended up this way is really at the heart of how Meredith was treated, and as soon as I realized that, I knew I had to write this story. One Day Closer To You - a follow-up to Lost and Found, this story started with a single chapter - the one where Nancy and Meredith are alone the porch. The rest of the story grew out around that. That's not to say that that particular chapter is in any way the central focus of the story, but it is what I wrote months before I even began the rest of the story, and I was inspired to write a story specifically to fit that chapter in somewhere. The Last Thing She Said - a personal favorite of mine, this story has stalled somewhat in the last six months or so, which is why it hasn't been updated in ages. I've got a few ideas churning around in my head, though, and anticipate adding new chapters by the end of the year. Lost and Found - my first "Grey's Anatomy" story. I was truly uncertain about posting this story, given its not-so-happy beginning and its lack of any focal pairing. I'm so glad I did, though, because the story evolved so dramatically from start to finish and even inspired not one, but two, sequels! Bones... Changes - my very first published fan fiction. Thank you to everyone who read and reviewed this "Bones" story. It was your encouragement and positive feedback that convinced me to publish stories I had written for other shows, and gave me the motivation to keep writing new ones. My ideas for a sequel to this story still haven't really taken off, but they do float to the front of my mind every now and then. Perhaps one of these days I'll be able to turn them into something worth publishing. I've also got a HUGE number of stories in development, so I think it's safe to say I'll be posting here for quite some time to come. I'll read pretty much any pairing (I can think of only a select few that would be enough to have me reject a story based on pairing alone), although I certainly have my favorites, as does anyone. More important to me than the pairing, though, is that the story is well written and developed. I always try to leave a review if I've read a chapter, and to be as thorough (not harsh!) as I can be in that review. I'd love it if my readers reciprocated! | |||||||||
