Hi, I'm Joann Frank, no relation to Anne. I love fanfiction and have been reading it since I was in 6th grade when one of my friends introduced me to it. The first fic I ever read was called 'Ranko 1/2'. I don't remember the author's name, though I loved the story. After a while, I finally discovered fanfiction.net, and fell totally in love. At firs I only read Ranma 1/2 fanfics, but I eventually expanded my reading list. I've wanted to be a writer since I was in 5th grade. Now that I look back on all my failed stories, I'm glad I never finished them, because they truly sucked. Whenever I can I work on my own original novels when school doesn't get in the way, and even sometimes when it does.

There is always the questions 'What does it take to become a writer'. Some people say time, practice, or imagination. What I personally believe is that to be a writer, you simply have to write, and love writing. For a true writer, living without anything to record their work down is torture. There are so many wonderful stories out there, even if they haven't been written yet, which is reason enough for not giving up on the world. Stories have enlightened people, or given people joy, sadness, anger, laughter, all of these by jsut the use of words. How many legends were created, how many mythical creatures? How many believe them or shun them? Either way you look at it, stories have a great affect on us, especially the ones we later find out are false.

Here are jsut a few tidbits about myself, I like: to act, write, draw, read, watch tv, play video games, Tae Kwon Do, dachshunds (I own three), listening to music, Pandas, (I own three stuffed animal ones), musicals. I know there are probably other things, but I ust can't think of them right now. I can't really tell you about my personality, because I'm little of everything, I'm even a total jerk sometimes, but isn't everyone? I hope you enjoy my stories, and keep coming back for more.
