Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, Misc. Books, and Mulan.

I mainly go by Lizzy, Maruca and Narglette. At least I do here. Other than that, I’m called Lizzeh, Lizzie Borden, Lizard, Liz-man, and a few variations of my last name.

I’m a wannabe novelist, I guess. I won NaNoWriMo last year, but after winning, I had no idea where to go with the rest of my story, and I haven’t touched the document since the end of November. It’s strange how that had taken over my life for a month, pushing out everything else in my life, even my best friends here, and I’m not even going to finish it. I’m debating on whether I should do it again this year. Other than that, I also have writer’s block, and want to start a new story, but I have no ideas for a plot. So, instead I’m trying my hand at poetry. I’m okay, I guess.

COPY AND PASTES, ZOMG!!11!

I hate copy and pastes. Profiles are meant to talk about yourself, and copy and pastes just waste time and clog up cyber space. They tell nothing about the individual, they only reflect the masses. And I’ve noticed that many newbies have a ton of copy and pastes on their profiles, while the experienced authors don’t waste their time with things like that.

Now onto the subject of those poems about child abuse/abortion/school shootings. I DON'T CARE if those made you sad the first time you read them, and you have a warm enough heart to repaste it onto your profile. Honestly, if you care about those subjects so much, then why don't you do something to help the victims of school shootings, raise to money for organizations against child abuse, or participate in the Pro-Life Day of Silent Soliditary. Because, really, you can do better things to help than put a poem that you didn't even write on your profile.

Revised copy 'n' pastes:

92 percent American teens would die if Abercrombie and Fitch told them it was uncool to breathe. Copy this into your profile if you're one of the less than one percent who questions the legitamacy of that statement.

98 percent of teenagers have tried drugs. If you actually did research and found out that it was 47 percent at most, copy and paste this into your profile.

I'm (insert category here), so I must (insert extremely outdated stereotypical action that is either actually true or that no one even thinks of here).

If you think you're weird and special and different, I have a newsflash: everyone on this site thinks that.

I found this delightfully ironic: Copy and Paste this into your profile if you’re one of the few people who are able to resist stupid fads.

Other rants.

I despise winter. Very, very much. Some of my friends in warmer states wish for the snow, and, quite frankly, I don’t understand why. The snow is evil. It is harsh and cold. So, so cold. The snow kills things. It kills the grass, the flowers, and the leaves on the trees. And it doesn’t just kill plants, it kills animals. Animals that starve from not being able to find enough food, and animals that can’t take the cold. The cruelest thing of all is how beautiful the snow is when it’s falling softly outside my window, or resting on the bare tree branches, or the way it shimmers in the sunlight. The beauty makes me hate it even more. How can something that looks so wonderful also be so horrible at the same time? How? How?

You know what else I hate? Bad grammar. No—bad spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and writing in general. For this, I blame texting. Vile thing, texting is. In texting, I completely understand why people would not capitalize ‘I’s, or other things like that. I completely understand why texters say ‘u’ instead of ‘you.’ It’s simply because when you often have to press a key three times to get a single letter, have a limit of characters, it’s just a heck of a lot easier. But on a full keyboard, I find no excuse for a lack of capitalization or abbreviations like ‘u.’ Does it really take thatmuch time and energy to press two other keys? Or use the shift key? For example, the fanfics I see on here—they make me lose hope in humanity. So many people don’t even try to write good stories, they just spew out all this crap, slap on an ‘i sux at sumerys NO FLAMS’, and then the other squeezing fanbrats encourage this barbarian behavior and inflate their egos by saying ‘LOLOLOLOL!!11! SO FUNY!! UPDTAE PLZ!’ The lack of effort and thought is appalling. Where are the people actually looking to improve their writing? Where are the people that write thought-out stories and actually put effort into their writing? Where are the people who care about grammar? Where?

…Did you seriously finish reading all of that? Well, then good for you. You deserve a cookie.

People stop believing in things like magic because the world is cruel, and everyone cares a little about what other think of them.

We stop believing because we’re scared, and scornful, and possess biased views on things.

Who says that an acorn can’t hold the secrets, or that a tree can’t be made of ice, or that the crack in the sidewalk can’t be rope?

The only person who’s in our way is ourselves.

~Sam

You know, I sort of wonder why I still have this quote up. When Sammeh said this a year and a half ago it meant a lot to me, but now I've changed a lot and it doesn't mean as much. I want to take it down, but it's been up here so long, that doesn't feel right...

RON WEASLEY LIKES TOAST!

…Don’t ask.

Little drabbles about things in the movie that didn't make sense, things that would have been more logical, and characters acting OOC. I don't own the rights to Mulan, or anything involving it.
