Author has written 7 stories for Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Twilight, and Hunger Games.
I'm ShilohPR on here, but you'll see me as Shiloh on twilighted(dot)net
-my web site, pretty bare now as I'm re-doing it to reflect changes in my writing life
- you'll have to friend me to read most of the entries, but I'll accept anyone. I just tend to be very . . . honest, and I don't want stalker exboyfriends reading it, haha . . . because they would.
12/5: I don't know about you guys, but I think it's about time I get back to writing these stories. Yeah? Okay.
LEAF DANCES: As you will see, it's been removed. Many have expressed an interest in reading this story when I get it published. I'll preface this by saying that publication is a slow and lengthy process. I'm getting closed to finished writing it, but then there's editing and submitting probably multiple times. But to those of you who are interested in seeing it once it's published, I'll be posting information here, or on either of my writing sites (the link for Phantom Reality is above) or on my livejournal (link also above.) I truly appreciate any and all support as I begin my post-college writing career. Thanks, guys!
To those who are proclaiming to hate me now, I can't even bring myself to apologize to you. I've had authors yank stories I was enjoying reading, and it sucks. There's no getting around that. Unfortunately, I am currently $104,000 in debt for a writing degree which I did not obtain in order to write fanfiction for the rest of my life. Leaf Dances wound up being a better story than I had expected and it comes to a point where I have to decide what's best for me and my career. Right now I'm not making enough money each month to even pay my bills, so when I have something that might possibly be a good book to start my published career, I've got to go for it. I can't imagine wishing an author ill will for pulling a story in order to begin her career and support herself. If you truly harbor bad feelings towards me for this decision, then I have no apologies for you anyway, because you aren't the sort of reader I'm writing for anyway. I love writing, but I'm graduated now and want that to be my job. I'm not working for free for people who don't wish me the best.
LEARNING TO SAY NO:
To the rest of you, you're wonderful. Thanks for helping me gain the confidence in myself as writer to see this one through. You guys rock my world. :)
