Author has written 28 stories for Pokémon, Detective Conan/Case Closed, Card Captor Sakura, Witch Hunter Robin, Fullmetal Alchemist, Princess Tutu, and Gurren Lagann. I was formerly known as "GreyRose," but CSakuraS is the alias I go by more frequently now. To fans of my earlier work (Pokemon, Detective Conan), I am deeply sorry, but I won't be updating them anymore. They're all over five years old, so I have lost inspiration for them and moved on to other fandoms. I'm currently writing for the following fandoms: Fullmetal Alchemist, Princess Tutu, and Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. So, uh, since people seem to be enjoying my Gurren Lagann fic (Sound of Pulling Heaven Down), guess I'll dedicate a section of my profile to it for a while. This is really the biggest fanfiction project I've attempted so far. I've tried writing multi-chapter fics in the past, yes, and all but one kind of...failed. So I figure that if I can finish this, then I'll have the confidence I need to finish my original novel as well. This is also the first time I've written full-out romance and sci-fi at the same time (I consider myself mainly a gen/fantasy writer). I've never been big on those genres before, but watching Gurren Lagann made me want to give it a shot. Because I ship Simon/Nia like burning, and when I saw all these people complaining about how they "never got GARlock" in the show (to which I think "pfft"- but I won't go into that here), the idea started building in my head. My main influences were early speculation on how the show would turn out when it was still airing (this being why I wanted to explore the Earth-gets-destroyed scenario), various Japanese fanart, more speculation on how canon!Simon would have become GARlock in an alternate universe (many people seem to agree that GARlock is how Simon could have turned out if he'd never met Nia), and of course, the opening scene of the first episode. The official novels written by Kazuki Nakashima also inspired me in many ways.
