Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, and Host. I write primarily for Harry Potter, focusing on but not exclusively the pairings of HGSS and RLNT. And unlike most diehard HP fans, I was not entirely disappointed in DH and therefore like to incorporate its canon into my stories. However, more often than not I will exclude the epilogue, which I could have done without. I like to portray characters as they are portrayed in canon, but delve deeper into their motives and emotions, as we only see a small glimpse of most. Furthermore, with characters such as Hermione, Ron, Harry, Ginny, etc, in post DH, I do infuse a sense of maturity into their personas, as they were children in all of the books, and I do not see how they could live through a war without being utterly unchanged.
