Author has written 2 stories for Bubblegum Crisis, and Teen Titans.

About me:

I've been an animation fan since forever, and the fact that I'm old doesn't preclude me from watching cartoons.

I grew up on a lot of Looney Tunes and a smattering of Disney, but I've always liked the Tunes a little more. Something about how they were able to crack adult jokes and still have something left over for the kids. I admire that a lot, and try to reflect that in my work. I also watched a lot of Transformers cartoons, and a smattering of other things. I can still remember such 80's classics such as Dungeons & Dragons, Kidd Video, Galaxy High, and the 'Americanized' Sentai team shows, such as Galaxy Rangers, Silverhawks, and similar stuff. Naturally, like every other kid in the world, I was also hooked on Ninja Turtles.

During the 90's, my attentions turned again to the early Nicklodeon lineup. I was a fan ofRealMonsters, Rocco's Modern Life, and of course the seminal Ren & Stimpy, whose art stylings can now be seen in a lot of newer cartoons, if you look hard enough. Later, I favored thenew WB lineup cartoons, such as Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and the few shots in the dark, such as Freakzoid, Road Rovers, and Earthworm Jim. The writing teams on those shows displayed an amazing talent of combining sharp wits with edgy humor so sharp it coul draw blood, which is probably why they're not around anymore.

Those were great for humor, but as much as I'm loathe to admit it, no company was really good at holding a series with decent plotting as the Disney series. Duck Tales, Goof Troop, Darkwing Duck, and Rescue Rangers all got my attentions, and taught me how to plot a story linearly.

During the late 90's, my attentions turned to anime. The list of that stuff I watched is too exhaustiv to list, but eventually I discovered the secret to Japanese Animation was to use the same five different characters, repeatedly. I still appreciate it for what it is, but no longer watch it with any sort of fervor, the last good series I can recall being Azumanga Daioh.

Action and adventure took my attentions around 2002 or so, and I recall getting into the WB series again, with things like Batman, Batman: Beyond, the Mighty Ducks, and even the Disney/Pixar Buzz Lightyear of Star Command show. Excellent series plotting there, with some very nice characterizarion.

Where am I now? Complicated question.

I'm 25 years old, Asian, and I work a full time job as well as attend law school.

Truth. It means I usually have only the weekends to even seriously consider writin or drawing.

I've been on a writing hiatus for some time now, but with creative juices flowing again and a new series of cartoons out there that finally bring some respect to the table, I can say that things are looking up with the new generation of animators, artists, and writers out there.

Please leave comments, good or bad, at the door.

I promise I'll read them, so long as my geezer eyesight holds out.
