Hello, hello! This is hoshixcandy's profile, and if you've stumbled here on your own, or read one of my fics and wanted to know about me, thank you! And if you have read one of my fics, double thanks! As you can see, I've not written much yet but now I've got more free time, I might be able to do something worthwhile! Reading this page might be fun for you or not, I guess these pages always interest me - I like to find out more about the person behind the words, sometimes it makes a reread of their story more enjoyable! Okay, I'll stop with the mushy talk and let you go on...

Information on hoshixcandy

Name: You can call me Hoshi!

Age: 18! Yay for 18!

Location: Well, Earth, most of the time. And a small place in the UK. Spiritually, I'm living anywhere and everywhere.

Life in the next four years: Studying philosophy and English and university!

Goal: I want to become a published writer. I know I'm a long way off, but, all I need is practice and good ideas!

Interests: Reading, writing, anime, manga, doodling. Being philosophical about philosophical things, gaming and listening to music. I love being a critic of things too, but not in a nasty way. I also have a strong sense of justice and will argue in depth if I don't agree with something, like unfair treatment (I don't just argue for the sake of it.).

Favourite Game: Pokémon, Zelda series, or the Mario series. And now that I think about it, I'm getting into the Metroid games. Yes. All Nintendo.

Favourite Manga: In fact, it's Pita Ten! Gotta love Misha, she's too cute! But I love Mamotte! Lollipop too, and I've just found out that the anime is going to be dubbed! Yay.

Favourite Anime: Um, too many I guess! There's Haruhi Suzumiya, Pokémon (Which I've not watched in a while!), Love Hina and more! This is random question but when someone asks you what anime you've watched does your mind go blank and your brain go "duuuuh"? That happens to me all the time, it's strange! I don't know what I've watched! (But I'm sure I've watched a fair bit...)

Favourite Book: I'd say 'Witches Abroad' by Terry Pratchett. It's witty, good humoured, and, well, brilliant. Then again, most of Terry Pratchett's books are, and I enjoy that. Yes, I should sell his books for a living, they're that good. GO! READ! AT! LEAST! ONE! Please! I also like the 'Guardians of Time' trilogy by Marianne Curley and 'The Wereling' Trilogy by Stephen Cole. And of course, I like Stephen King novels too.

Inspiration and motivation: I get most of my inspiration from my favourite authors, Mr Pratchett and Mr King, already mentioned in favourite book. Their writing styles and beliefs in their novels greatly inspire me in my own writing. Obviously, the anime and manga I enjoy play a huge part in inspiration, and motivation. Without them, I wouldn't have any ideas, the same for the games I play. I also get inspiration and motivation from the people closest to me! Whenever I talk to the person most special to me I feel super good, and the writing just flows. It's weird how people can stimulate us like that, isn't it?

Story updates:I really should deal with this more.

Twilight Rain: Near completion. Look out for the epilogue to round off Link's latest quest!

Pokémon: Haruhi Version: Now that I have the ideas mapped out in my head, there should be at least two more chapters of this story to finish. Please bear with the story! It really helps if you know about Haruhi Suzumiya, but if not, you're not really at a disadvantage, just the plot line wil seem bizarre.
