~a very special thank you to everyone who supported me during the spam crisis of march of this year. i had no idea people online could be so cruel, or so compassionate. words can't express my gratitude to all of you, and you can be assured that you have a loyal friend in me should you ever find yourselves in need.
news
~i am back from my sabbatical and am currently publishing a novella and a series of one-shots, working on a novel and a short story, and i'm also editing an old story i found in my hard drive.
~as for my personal life, i am currently lazing away the summer, neglecting all the important things in life in favor of socializing online.
about my writing
~i write for many fandoms, the principle ones being 'star trek: the original series' and 'sherlock holmes.' after those come 'pirates of the caribbean,' 'bonanza,' and 'sonic the hedgehog.'
~i also do fics for a variety of children's fandoms, firstly because i am still a kid at heart; secondly, because i have seen a lot of trash when it comes to fics based in that field, and would like to present the kids who frequent this site with something more wholesome.
~my focus is on novels, and i rarely publish by chapter because i make frequent revisions. so my better fics will not be posted for some time as i have yet to complete a novel. occasionally, i will write a short story if the inspiration strikes me. drabbles are virtually non-existant for me.
~all my fics are based in canon as closely as possible. you will see no mary-sue's, no crossovers, no slash, no au's, etc.
~i prefer to read one-shots, and am rapidly bored with long, drawn-out tales. i rarely read them at all, unless i know the author is talented.
about me
~as you may have guessed, i play percussion of all kinds as well as piano, and i sing. there are few things more important to me than music and my life goal is to start a music school for kids.
~among the other important things are my faith, my family, and my friends. i am a born-again, Bible-believing Christian and my Lord is the only One in my life who ranks above my passion for music. my family and friends come next, and if you get to know me you will find that i am one of the most loyal and merciful creatures God created; truth is, you could be the scum of the earth and i would still offer my friendship and stick with you through eternity. it's just who i am.
~i am a full-time student, studying to become a music teacher of course, and am in the process of transferring to a new school. i have many years of schooling ahead of me if i want my masters, so my hobby of writing has taken a bit of a backseat.
~in addition to writing fanfiction, i enjoy reading; drawing and painting; performing, composing and analyzing music; watching tv and youtube; and being generally lazy. i live on a farm in the pacific time zone of the usa, and i raise chickens and grow garlic.

~my avatar will always be a symbol of what fandom i am currently writing for, and will reflect my personality in some way. this particular one was made by me, with my limited picture editing software (i.e. microsoft picture manager and paint). i have it posted full-size on my deviant ART page. a search for my username will find it.
