Author has written 3 stories for Outsiders.

To begin, I can never get this profile thing right! It never reads or sounds like I want it to ... someday, I might just delete the whole thing and be one of those mysterious, incognito authors. =)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

I joined fanfiction.net with the hope of improving my writing by taking into consideration all reviews, comments and opinions. I can always write without fanfiction.net, but I can't get outside input without it. In light of this, PLEASE REVIEW. I would especially appreciate constructive critism that tells me what I'm doing wrong, as well as right. There's no need to be polite if there's something you don't like. I'd really be grateful for the input.

I have three fics at the moment. Here's a little background/info on their progress/state:

Picking Up the Glass (Name was formerly Golden Sunsets; it was temporary. I hated it, hated it, hated it.)This one is my first fanfic. I was really nervous about posting it, so thank you everyone for the positive response! In retrospect, negative response is welcomed too. :) I like to look at my fanfic's negative aspects with an open mind. I wrote this before really exploring the site and checking out all the resources for how to write a good and/or realistic fic, etc. Since then I've realized that the story is pretty flawed in some places (I'm mostly thinking aspects of the plot) so right now I'm concentrating on keeping it as well-written and enjoyable as I can. I'm updating this periodically so just bear with me.

Disturbing the Peace This is my favorite of my fanfics. For one thing it's actually done. (There's no risk of it suddenly going wrong lol.) I had such a great time writing it and I also just feel I did a good job on it, if I may say so myself.

The Right Side of the Tracks Well... the future of this fic is slightly uncertain. I'd like to continue it, but I want to rewrite/proofread it as well as change a few aspects of the plot. For one thing, I think I'll make Jane Randy's sister. Formerly, I wanted to make her a sister of just some random, made-up friend of Bob's. But, after thinking it over, I felt this was too 'mother's aunt's second cousin's ex-wife' kinda thing, too far away from the canon characters of the book. I'm quite intimidated by the thought of describing Randy's family as well as his friendship with Bob, but I'm going to give it my best shot. What do you think of the idea? Send me a message and let me know.

I think it's a really interesting topic (to write about things from a Soc's POV) because I rarely, if ever, see fics from a Soc's POV. What do you think life is like for them in Tulsa? Especially during the time "The Outsiders" takes place. It's almost as if, despite the fact that S.E. Hinton proclaims that there is really, deep down in an individual, no difference between the Socs and greasers, we still only sympathize and feel friendly toward the greasers. Not that I blame anyone for this. S.E. Hinton just did such a great job getting us all to fall in love with the greasers! :)

This is the my take on the time when Two-Bit and Sodapop get arrested for doing flips, etc. down a sidewalk in Tulsa. It's from an onlookers POV and tells her opinion of the event and the greasers.
