Currently: (1-13-13 – 10:00PMEST) School has started again in earnest and I had a great time over the break with Hikari-san. Over the past couple months I saw Wreck-It Ralph and Rise of the Guardians (both of which are absolutely amazing) and I finally watched The Lorax, so I've been reading fanfics for these. These are also double fueled by tumblr so I can't tell if that's a good thing or not.

I have a (possibly two) Wreck-It Ralph story(/ies) in the works but RotG hasn't helped me finish those. I finally got the History of Sonic the Hedgehog book in and Hikari and I played Sonic 06 over the break (the first six parts are on our joint YouTube channel) so I've been pulled a bit more back towards Sonic. I want to write something, but inspiration's sparse, and I apologize.

Note: There’s a new poll up so please take the time to vote in it. Also, the results from last poll are that I will be continuing with The Beginnings of the Heroes and Villains. Don’t expect an update soon however, and I will also be revising the prologue to exclude the OC and to better suit my current writing style. (1/13 - I can't believe that the most votes are for updating TBotHaV...)

Hikami42 is the joint account between myself and Hikari-san (the author of The Genesis of a Generation – the main story to the sister version of mine – Generation Genesis). We write for Sonic the Hedgehog.

ABOUT ME

The basics – I’m Kiersten Noel, a female, 17 junior in high school that has a horrible procrastination problem. I never have time for anything, I never don’t do my homework like I should, and I live on tumblr. I can’t focus on one thing for very long and I’ve loaded myself up on Honors and AP classes for I have even less time and focus than usual. I love writing, but I don’t seem to ever do very much of it and I love reading (which I seem to always be doing).

About writing – I always try to do something different with my writing. I’m really into unique and original ideas that no one else would have come up with. I love coming up with crazy things that could happen in a fandom and I love ‘what if’s. I like reversing character roles or making the bad guy win, and I love exploring potential ideas that never get used. I like taking the characters out of their element and putting them in new situations. However, I still love reading and writing about the characters being who they really are in the place they’re supposed to be in (in other words, I enjoy both AUs and straight canon stories equally).

My stories – Most are Sonic and Hedgehog, but every so often I’ll venture into Invader ZiM, Danny Phantom, or Bleach. I’ve also gotten ideas/have written for How to Train Your Dragon, Warriors, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. More recently, I've had ideas for Wreck-It Ralph fanfictions and I've dabbled in reading Rise of the Guardians fics. I love all of the back story and the unexplored universe of Sonic. (That can apply to IZ as well.) There’s so much that can be done with the characters, the situations, the circumstances and everything within the Sonic fandom – endless possibilities, as is said. I primarily write for the characters as they appear in the games; this is first and foremost.

(10-28-12 – 5:36AMEST) Finishing updates. Been busy for a couple days and trying to wrap it up now. Overloaded with things I have to do and yet I just get on tumblr. Halp. (finished updating at 6:19AMEST)

Hikari has convinced me to sign up and participate in NaNoWriMo so that will take up much, if not most, of my time. I know I don’t post much (see: hardly ever), but I want to try to post something before that starts up, especially a ficlet for Tails’ 20th Anniversary (which, coincidentally, also happens to be my birthday – November 24).

Sonic the Hedgehog
-I’m Not Crazy (working title) – Without his partner, his world shattered. With no pillar of support, he spirals into depression… Just in time for Eggman to unleash his next deadly plot. One year to the day of Tails’ ‘death’, is he still alive? Or is Sonic just seeing things?
-Blind Determination, Blind Respect (working title) – His determination was as unmatched as his speed. Maybe that’s why he didn’t kill him then and there. But then who would he fight? Although, maybe that’s why they played this deadly game of cat and mouse.
-Hope – The latest breakthrough in scientific research is upon us. With this experiment, all of our problems will be solved. Never again will we worry, never again will we sorrow. With this experiment, we shall win. Welcome to life, Experiment 5P33D.
-Mystic Treasures – Mighty is travelling again, and in one of his stops, he acquires a map to a buried and long forgotten treasure. So, he ventures off into the unknown in search of fun, adventure, and of course, treasure!
-Séeb and the Ancient Echidnas – Thousands of years ago, the Knuckles Clan discovered 8 gems of mystical powers. Princess Tikal and her advisor, a blue hedgehog named Séeb, uncover the mysteries of the Chaos Emeralds. But her father may have different plans.
-The Difference is Light and Dark – Sonic paled, his eyes going wide. That voice… The one so like his own but so cold and dark. It made him shudder. But then the warm and soothing voice that made his own seem rough chased away the dark and left only light.
-Before the Impossible was Possible – Three different backgrounds, three similar stories. One changed by evil, one by circumstance, and the other by fate, get ready to find out how Team Sonic came to be who they are.
-Gleam of Teeth, Flash of Claws – No summary because there’s no plot, but it’s a Werehog story because yes to the Werehog.
-And So They Laughed – It’s a crackfic. Expect randomness and a barrage of “WTF?” moments. Filled with as many references and Internet memes that you care to name.
-Citadel of Chaos – Reworking and reworking the plot for this sucker. It’s a doozy. Also, Werehog. Hopefully posted soon.

Invader Zim
- GIR’s Gone – Zim was working in his lab and GIR was watching TV. An hour later, GIR’s gone. Where could he be? Or better yet, who has him? Zim’s about to find out and he will stop at nothing.
- The Frycook What Never Left Space (placeholder) – This story will take off somewhere within The Frycook What Came From All That Space. It’s sort of like an alternate ending with Zim remaining stuck on Foodcourtia with Sizz-lorr managing to go off on his vacation.
-Timely Mistakes (placeholder) – Dib goes back in time and meets ZiM as a smeet and follows him around, learning about him/his life.
-Brain Worms - ZiM isn't stupid. He knows when he's not wanted. ZiM is naïve, desperately hoping against hope that someday, maybe, he'd be left alone, to lick his wounds, and maybe become a better Irken - one that doesn't destroy everything he touches and earn the scorn of a whole race. These are his thoughts, his hopes, his dreams, what he thinks and feels about everything from the Great Assigning to his time on Earth.
-Banished (placeholder) – A tentative, experimental story about ZiM being banished at a young age and ejected off of Irk, where he lands on Earth to a canon-aged Dib.
-Refraction (placeholder) - A story where ZiM and GIR swamp minds/bodies
-Face to Faith – All of the Invaders have been captured, and only seven Invader trained Irkens are left to rescue them; ZiM being one of them. The Tallests have to decide if they really want the Invader back bad enough to put up with ZiM and his "stowaways".
-Irk History 101 – Fan-made take on Irk’s history
-Keep Calm, Carry On – A story where ZiM finds out his mission is a fake and tries to live life on Earth as a "normal human boy"

Danny Phantom
-Half of Me – No summary; in this story, Danny and Phantom are separate entities that can combine into one (sort of like Yu-Gi-Oh but to a much larger extent)

How to Train Your Dragon
-Breath of Fire – Deciding he had no other choice, Hiccup chooses to leave with Toothless. The two end up on an island of dragons, where they decide to stay. After getting captured during a leisurely flight, they must figure out a way to escape from the Vikings of Berk.

Bleach
-Little Hurricane – Something big is sweeping the Gotei 13… or maybe it’s not very big at all. Either way, they’re gonna have their hands full dealing with their youngest, strongest, and most powerful prodigy yet – if they can all stay alive until he’s old enough.

Yu-Gi-Oh!
-Twin Shadows – Angry at his father and most of the world, Atemu soon discovers that his new life in Domino City isn’t too bad… But that’s before he finds out the secret his parents were hiding for his entire life- he had a twin.
