YOU KNOW WHEN YOU'RE OBSESSED WITH 24 WHEN...
whenever there's fog on the school bus windows you draw "J+R"...even though your initial is any letter but those as is your boyfriend's, when you are anti-Obama because he doesn't approve of waterboarding, when you hate people with a soul patch, when you get excited whenever you see an unmarked police car, when you come to school Tuesday and start crying, saying "BILL'S DEAD" and people are actually comforting you, asking "Was Bill your uncle?"...when you've met Jon Voight before (I have) and after seeing him on 24 you hate him with all of your guts, when your teacher asks you what we should do with Gitmo prisoners and you say that Jack Bauer can solve it...when you're at the airport (AND THIS REALLY HAPPENED!) and a security guard says that they're calling the FBI, then the person on the other line picks up and the guard says, "Renee, I was curious about..." and you scream, wondering where the heck Renee and Jack were...when you're swimming through the Snake River in Idaho, through rapids and currents, and the only thing keeping you going is, "There's a 15 yr old Sangalan terrorist behind me with a semi-automatic machine gun and I'm the only one who know that the attack is on the White House."...when you get excited about an FBI raid that happened at your cousin's neighborhood...when you start to love mysterious black SUV's that scream "Government"...

You know you're obsessed with 24 when (CONTINUED...) you're playing badminton and you look at the clock and there's only 5 seconds left and you scream, "WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME" and hit the birdie like Jack would...Your mom says, "Hey, we should dye your hair auburn" and you freak out, because that would make you look even more like Renee Walker...You're doing a mock interrogation for school, your suspect is your best friend, and you ask your teacher if you can waterboard them...You take part in a summer camp that involved scaling 10 ft walls and you're thinking, "Hey, this could be useful when I'm in the FBI..."...your family gets all paranoid and now whenever they hear a clock we think it's a bomb (THAT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN MY HOUSE...We actually got rid of a clock because it ticked so loud that we felt like there was a bomb)...You actually participate in gym now, because all that physical fitness would be useful when you're in hand to hand combat with terrorists...
