Recently I was nominated for both The Gamble: Best Writer and The Carver: Best New Writer awards in the 2009 Unscripted Genius Awards. Thanks to all those who nominated and voted for me! Here’s an overview of the stories I’ve written so far: Parenting Your Gifted Child When Sam and Dean re-visit their dad's storage container, Sam makes an unexpected discovery that sheds some light on their childhood. Thanksgiving, Winchester Style or, The Importance of Pie A series of one-shots centered around a common theme, showing important Thanksgivings the Winchesters have experienced. Showcases the boys’ bond through the years, as they become the men they are today. Each chapter is the complete story of a different Thanksgiving and can be read as a stand-alone, but you will get more out of the series if you read them all in order. A little of everything is in here—hurt/comfort, fluff, angst, action/adventure, drama, humor, John/Mary romance, Sam/Jess romance, Bobby, but mostly tons of brotherly moments. Not So Drunk as You Think I Am The boys are investigating mysterious disappearances in logging country. Is there something supernatural in the woods? Is that what’s taken Dean? Sam has a brother to find. A story written in weekly installments for the E/O drabble challenge. Always With You He awoke, injured and with no memory of who he was or how he’d gotten there. All he had to go on were nightmares of a hunter he’d been trying desperately to save. But were they nightmares…or were they memories? And who was the hunter in his dreams? Nominated for “Best Villain” in the 2009 Unscripted Genius Awards. Thanks to all those who voted for it! The Power of Suggestion A simple hunt at a fair has some unexpected consequences for Sam and Dean. Or does it? Humor. The Power of Duct Tape Loose sequel to “The Power of Suggestion,” but can be read as a stand-alone, too. With Sam exhibiting symptoms that may or may not result from a gypsy curse, it’s up to Dean to take care of him, in his own big brother way. Humor. The Things That Remain Not everything was destroyed in the fire. A Father’s Day story. Touched by Fire Dean Winchester's whole life had been shaped by fire. Truth or Dare When Sam goes camping with some friends, an innocent game brings up feelings he’s been trying to suppress about the brother he left behind. Stanford era. Passin’ the Stone Dean comes up against a foe no weapon in his arsenal can vanquish. hurt!sick!Dean, comforting!Sam Frozen in Memory When a nasty poltergeist traps Dean in an underground icehouse, it’s up to Sam to save his brother before it’s too late. Then he just has to get him warm again. It'll take all of his little brother skills to do it. hypothermic!Dean, protective!caring!Sam Just Like My Big Brother A look at what Sammy really thinks about his big brother as they’re growing up. Most of the story is wee!Chester, but the end is set during Season 3, where it ties into a missing scene from “Fresh Blood.” Big Brother to the Rescue Large or small, when Sammy Winchester has a problem, there’s always one person who can make it better. A little bit of fluffy, brotherly schmoop, wee!Chester style.
