Author has written 2 stories for Labyrinth.

Update March 12, 2009: I am terribly excited to announce that Faeriesmidwife and I have written our first (very long) story together. It will be posted in its entirety on our new joint account 'Faeries.de.luna' very soon and we will be posting the first chapter on our separate accounts merely to let our 'author alerted' readers know that we wrote a story. Its a really fun story and I had a huge amount of fun writing it. Writing together with FM is not only enjoyable but I have learned So much and I am terribly proud of this story. I hope everyone enjoys it. -Clare

Update Jan 21st 2009: Well, in response to a challenge that Gemkat5 and I cooked up (she mentioned an idea and we agreed that the premise was just too good to pass up for a challenge...) I have finally written my first story. I have to admit actually posting it took quite a bit of working up of my courage! That said I would love to hear what people think of it as I'd like to be a better writer.

You may have come here because I reviewed a story of yours...

I like to be fair and write nice long reviews. I like to be fair doncha know. : ) Not that life is always fair, as fans of Labyrinth know, it isn't always fair - it is the way it is. But if you have slaved over a lovely and satisfying story for me, I try very hard to churn out a review for you.

I have lots of great Labyrinth, Moonlight, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Enchanted and some X-Files Fics in my C-2 archive. You are welcome to subscribe if you would like to share it with me. : ) I know I often look at what other people's favorites are; chances are if I liked your writing I'll like what you read too.

Who am I?

I wish I was a writer... I've been trying to convince myself to write since 1990 when I bought my first computer, a Amiga 500 with an external disk drive and no hard drive. It took until January of 2009 for me to actually write a story... not that long, eh?

Ah I should know better than to say I wish, eh, Sarah? But, look... no G. K.?

What I am in addition to being an aspiring writer is that I love to read. I read fanfiction, romantic fiction (Laurell K. Hamilton, Nora Roberts and her alias J.D. Robb, Karen Moning, Sherilyn Kenyon... I especially am into paranormal romantic fiction, particularly the stories with eternal highlanders, druids, or the Fae.)

I collect all the stories I love into my C2 archive which is named after the show Moonlight... "A Tendency To Bite Down" The name was taken from an episode wherein Mick and Josef were discussing why Mick hadn't "sealed the deal with Beth yet in epi (I think 15?) and Mick mentioned a variety of reasons such as his age and that he had a "tendency to bite down." Josef's wonderful reply was, "Some women like that."

I love too many different shows, musicians, movies, TV Series to list... but am currently obsessed with David Bowie and the movie Labyrinth. An incredible tale of change and growth that a girl undergoes while on a mystical journey. Marketed as a Children's movie... but so much more than that really... And then there is David Bowie, a man who continually reinvents himself through his music and is a immensely talented musician.

I love Alias, especially Sark/Sydney (Sarkney) when it is written with them both in character (mushy Sarkney is truly no fun), Bones, (Brennan/Booth of course), Labyrinth J/S, (not too much into unnecessarily !EvilJareth -although he has to remain arrogant and in character... and I hate wimp Sarah), X-Files, (Scully/Mulder), Terminator-Sarah Conner Chronicles, NCIS, and of course Moonlight (Mickbeth) - I hated to see that show go. : (

Musicians: David Bowie, Avril Lavigne, Pink, Alannis Morrissette, Cher, Bon Jovi, Sugarland, George Straight, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, classical music (grew up playing the flute, - love music)

Also currently reading:

Skuldugerry Pleasant (series); Playing with Fire- by Derek Landy, and Gregor the Underlander (series) by Suzanne Collins. Very good books. And the Inkworld trilogy- Inkheart, Inkspell and Inkdeath. Great books and really looking forward to the movie! Reading them to my daughter at night.

And now for some basic life info I like to share with people:

FREECYCLE: If you've never heard of freecycle.. I like to tell people about it. It is a program on yahoo email where people give stuff away to other people to keep stuff out of landfills. You can find your local groups at http://www.freecycle.org. People give away great stuff and you can save a ton of money (especially on kids and babies clothing.) It is also a great way to give back and clean out extra stuff in your house.

It's nice to meet you all. I hope you save some money from freecycle. You can also just do a search on Yahoo.

Ask me about it if you are interested.. ; )

Nice to meet you all!

Clare
