Name- Dagger94 –This is the username I use for every website I have ever registered on, Dagger for Dagger from Final Fantasty 9 and 94 for 1994 by year of birth.

The 5 reasons I like anime- 1. Art- The art in anime is so different from any art I had ever seen. To see a boy with such a beautiful face or extravagant girls with amazing red hair makes me look at the perception of people different. Not only the way that they look, its just that the way that they are drawn. Their eyes are really strange but really captive, the style allows the character to express themselves so well and then their faces are so perfect. In real life you will never see anyone’s face as beautiful and as fluid as an anime characters. (Just to mention Lelouch Lamperouge is the most beautiful character I have ever seen)It’s like an escape for what visuals we constantly see, since they are so different. Then the colors they use blend and are so soft and sharp and beautiful. From a girl walking down the street, a giant fight between huge robots, or just a moment standing in the rain, the art of anime seems to capture the moment in perfection.

2. Story- War conflict anyone? Or Love triangles that tear you apart? How about the ideas of sacrifice, love, revenge, friendship , death, and redemption all told in a new way? In an anime, the story has to be top notch, make you interested till the very end, and surprisingly anime does well with that. Giant political conflicts to teenagers finding out about themselves, Starships in space to a day spent daydreaming in school. You think you’ve seen it all but you never really do.

3.Music- From techno songs that make you want to dance to soft ballads that make you want to go to sleep. The music in anime will always fit, make you feel nostalgic to certain memories, and make you want to sing along to every opening you hear.

4- Characters- There are some characters that really make you want to kill them cough Mitzuki (Rumbling Hearts) cough and there are characters that you want to hug them so hard that it hurts Cough Uruyu Ishidacough there is such a giant array of personalities in anime from the ditzy heroine to the insanely crazy main character. Characters looking for a purpose, those achieving goals, others seeking revenge, love, and redemption its fun to analyze them all. It makes you wonder how complex humans are to be able to be so different and feel so many things. Some characters will annoy you, others you will love to no end, and those that you feel are just insanely badass.

5-Exposure to a different culture- Okay so I’m assuming most of those that watch anime look into Japan since it was the source for all the anime. There we all are diving into a whole new world where the language, customs, and morals are different. I like to think that anime makes us more open-minded and worldly.

History with Anime and Manga- I started out around 1999 with the anime Sailor Moon and Pokemon. I believe most of my generation started out like that. With Sailor Moon and Pokemon. I was not as into it I am now, mostly because I didn’t know what I was watching was anime. I think I liked Sailor Moon because of all the shojo girl stuff, and I liked Pokemon because I feel in love with James from Team Rocket. Then I think maybe around that same time it was Yugioh and Card captors. Then I had a phase where I hated anime because of how much I hated Dragonball Z. Around 6 years later I read my first manga Ultra Maniac, followed by Tsubasa. The first anime I watched where I knew I watching anime was Pretear. I started getting into J-Pop after watching Bleach.

I’M BACK! I’ve returned to remove Hiatus status on all my stories as well as to begin posting some new one shots I came up with. It’s been a while that much I can say, and I believe my view on things has changed since I’m older. My writing is a bit rusty, from being on Hiatus so long, but I hope you continue to read my stories. I’ve read and watched more manga and this time round I hope to have more variety on my fanfics.

FAVORITE CHARACTERS-

Uruyu Ishida- I stubbornly hold to the title of Uruyu Ishida biggest and most ardent fan. I love Uruyu so much, and he is the only character that I refuse to share. Yes, very selfish, but that’s just how much I love him. I don’t know but I find Uruyu very attractive, (in a goofy way yes) I think his glasses won me over. Or maybe it was this one fight where his shirt tears and you see his chest? (yes I’m that crazy.) Or was it his voice? Noriaki Sugiyama dies Anyway, Uruyu’s mine. just saying I know he’s not real, but still…

2- Lelouch Lamperouge- Lelouch is a character that you only get to experience every several anime. Artistically speaking, Lelouch happens to be very well drawn to a point where I believe he’s the most beautiful character I have ever laid my yes on. His whole character is planned out so well that he becomes more real than any 2 dimensional characters I’ve ever know. Lelouch in definition is beautiful.

3- L- Everyone loves L. I think what I loved about him the most was how different he was from what you normally see in the good guy of a show.
