Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Mad Men, and Big Fish. Name: Danica Cameron Age: 16, I have a late birthday (I share my birthday December 8 with Mary Queen of Scots, and Jim Morrison. That, I must say, is incredibly cool I think.) If ever you have a question, or even just want to chat it up PM me. I'm addicted to this site so likely I'll reply quickly, I also LOVE receiving PM's. I took down "Ma Belle" Because - despite that I didn't mind some parts of it I found the story as a whole was a bit lacking. I plan to edit "All I Need" as soon as I get time because it needs it. I took the sorting hat quiz in several different places all said I belong in Slytherin. I am a proud Slytherin I wouldn't want to be in any other house anyway. I live in a small town, with exactly one one-story mall and a super-walmart. OH and we have a movie theater that gets about half the movies that come out (PARTY). My friends and I spend the majority our time wandering aimlessly about the streets. Wearing our feet out, a great excitement is walking in the back streets and right when you're about to collapse you find a swing set! I'll tell you you run to that swing set like it's water in a dessert. I do read many books. I love Harry Potter(really who doesn't) The "A great and terrible beauty" trilogy. Now in Harry Potter my favourite character is Bellatrix Lestrange, (I like most pairings that involve her, as long as they make sense) I just really find her intriguing and I don't think shes so very whiny as Harry can be at times. Madness is really so much more exciting than normalcy. Ships that I support involving characters other than Bellatrix are: Pansy/Draco Draco/Astoria (I think in a way they make sense together...in my head anyway since we get so very little on Astoria) Lucius/Narcissa Lucius/Pansy (okay, okay I know it's weird and rarely seen but I think it can be good when done correctly) Pansy/Ron (another weird one which is rare but can work in certain instances - it's sort of a guilty pleasure for me) Blaise/Pansy (okay so Pansy is a favorite character of mine - but I always imagine her with a little more depth than JKR leads us to believe she has, also Lucius is a favorite of mine.) Luna/Neville Andromeda/Ted (I'm half planning a fic for them) Tonks/Lupin I don't generally read fics about the core three - they bore me to death. And as the list suggest's I'm a fairly canon respecting person, it makes sense after all. So I'm planning a fic which remains currently untitled, it'll be about Draco and Pansy - inspired by my series of drabbles or a oneshot or whatever you'll call it "The Love Theme of Pansy and Draco" It will be more in depth and of course a little different. Really what I want to do is write a fic that alternates what character it centers around because I've never done that and I always regret it. I'm planning also a Ted/Andromeda fic...sort of. It'll be a while before it goes up because I'm lacking inspiration for it. Though it will follow "This isn't Happiness" as far as circumstances go. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE AUTHOR IS CHUCK PALAHNIUK(as the bold and underline suggests). I've read all his books excluding the non-fiction. Lullaby and Fight Club are my favourites. I'm also a bit of a James Fray fan (yeah that guy who Oprah went all bonkers on for...stretching the truth in his memoir) His very fictional book "Bright Shiny Morning" haunted me and made me sort of want to cry which happens very rarely, I'm usually unaffected by endings like that but it sort of got to me...anyway the point is I recommend him even his memoir "A Million Little Pieces". I think it's pretty obvious it's fictional but apparently not to Oprah (I really dislike her). In my own writing lately I've found my niche writing unhappy people. Well...unhappy by definition. I love disillusionment. The kind of 'American Beauty' stuff. I'm not a fan of happy endings, just endings that make sense if they happen to be happy I'm not adverse to that but if they're utterly stupid and out of place I don't feel as though the story is right. I don't think stories should always end happy because life just isn't that way. I listen to a variety of different artists including Wilco, Modest Mouse, The Shins, Ugly Casanova, The Beatles, The Fratellis as of late and a great deal of old sixties rock. I sit and do A LOT of writing to Bob Dylan. I love old swing music like Django Reinhardt. I enjoy classical music Beethoven's 5th is one of my favourites along with the 9th. The entire Sweeney Todd soundtrack goes without saying that I plug that in a great deal. Helena Bonham Carter is my favorite actress, Edward Norton is my favorite actor. "Nothing is ever as good as you can imagine it."- Chuck Palahniuk (Choke) | |||||||
