Well hi there.

I've been on ff.net under different pennames before...I was DiamondFyre for a bit, and before that I was Orlis-Diamond (it was a very long tiome ago). I had a Tamora Pierce story or two up, some x-men stories, and a Harry Potter story or two. If I can find those docs, I will have those stories up again. The odds of that get slimmer every day, though, I'm sorry to say.

As for who I am...I'm a young woman in school who loves fiction and who hates endings that don't go my way. I'm in love with the color red and with getting my way. I tend to love assholes too. I like drama, but don't like the people who cause it unnecessarily in my life. I sometimes write to make people/characters miserable so I can feel better about my own life (but don't we all, honestly?). Other times I write so that the characters can have the happiness I think everyone (well...almost everyone) so greatly deserves. I love bonfires and springtime, and I loooove the beach. I'm a complete cynic, but a closet romantic. Shhh don't tell anyone. I love music and Disney, and yet I hate Disney a little bit too for making everything seem like rainbows and sunshine (see, there's that cynic in me again). The funniest part of all of that? I work at the Disney store. Muahahahaha.

I am pretty much in love with the Firefly 'verse and all that is Firefly. Most specifically, I wish Mal and Jayne belonged to me, but they do not. Sigh.

I'm a mass of contradictions. In fact, I once wrote a self-portrait poem, and that was the title of it. Mass of Contradictions.

It's a pet peeve of mine that people are infinitely more likely to review a romance story than anything serious, even though it's the serious writing I tend to need more reassurance about. Hell, I think I just need reassurance about ym writing in general. While I am sometimes guilty of this, I do try sometimes.

I am in love with my readers. Yes, that probably includes you. Don't you feel special now?

Oh, and one more thing...I'd probably take fic requests, if you asked really nicely. =D
