I absolutely love books. And my passion for books is comparable to Yomiko Readman’s of Read or Die...or so people tell me. I aspire to be a Harlequin/Mills and Boon writer when I’m older (Age 35). But at the moment I want to fulfill my goal as a FA. Writing Views. 1) Normally, I overlook the mistakes and keep on reading. Sometimes though it's hard to ignore. Grammatical errors and misspelled names annoy me. And as a writer, I ensure I click the spellcheker so I don't annoy my readers in return. 2) Each character has a personality which defines who they are. I'm not a saint when it comes to keeping said personalities intact. But, I usually don't go to the extreme. So in the future we should stick to what we know best: keep everything clean. 3) Shizuka; I don't hate her, but sweet-tempered characters grate my nerves. Some authors, I'm not saying everyone, either portrays her as a strong, independent girl who has a knack for defending her friends. Or a real bitch. As mentioned above, you should keep everything clean. That way you'll have more fans and keep everyone happy. 4) Some authors include himself/herself in the story and have a romantic relationship with the other characters. This, uh, boggles my mind. Hey, I get the fantasy aspect, but on few occasions it's really creepy! Azureshipping: I have been a fan of this pairing for about two or three years now. Originally, I started reading Yuugi/Anzu fanfiction, and then Atemu/Anzu. It was curiosity which made me read an Azureshipping fic, and since then I've been under a spell. Seto Kaiba and Anzu Mazaki have the personalities of a romance hero and heroine. He is arrogant and egotistical, whereas she is fiery and vivacious. When an author brings these qualities to their story, and the characters come alive, it ensnares the reader's attention and whets their enthusiasm for more. There are very few authors in fanfiction who can do this, but, I believe with practice anyone can. Very soon I hope to join the ranks of these great writers. Requests for Azureshipping One-Shots.
