Author has written 43 stories for Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, and Sherlock Holmes. URGENT On a site called My Yearbook a person going under the screen name of TevaLee has been claiming credit for my writing, so far the only story she has lied about is 'A Hole Is Still A Hole' but without the help of a person I will not name, I would never have been aware of this violation. Please if ANYONE hears of someone claiming to be me and/or taking credit for my work, I need to know about it. my writing is everything to me. Hee hee hee... Welcome to my nightmares It’s from here you’ll see my dreams The darkness that you’re blinded by Just hides my twisted schemes I wait here, in my forest With my wide and glinting grin There’s no way to escape The tricky trouble that you’re in Long before you see me You will hear my taunting song Your heart will pound inside you But you won’t be waiting long Here I am beside you, No in front, now I’m behind Am I really there? Or am I only in your mind? Is it the moon that cracks the night? It could be my evil smile Now next you’ll see my shining eyes There’s no point in denial You try to run, to fight it But your feet obey my word And what before was nonsense It’s now logic that you’ve heard Your fear will soon desert you As I whisper in your ear ‘Come join me, in my forest It’s alright, we’re all mad here’ STUFF TO EXPLORE: (Episode 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqk9alMoDIo&feature=context&context=C32faf0bADOEgsToPDskI1aNHPpTpGD39YTUpbTPFP (Episode 2) (Includes an interview with Mrs. Hudson) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rde-9s-5CEc&feature=context&context=C32faf0bADOEgsToPDskI1aNHPpTpGD39YTUpbTPFP (Song 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnH4u9AQi58&feature=related (Song 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmuJKbNwtyg&feature=related (Song 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5E1det5Ivag&feature=related GREETINGS EARTHLINGS. Hi. Hello. TOP OF THE FRIGGING MORNING TO YOU ALL! though how you can be on top of mourning for someone I'll never figure out, don't people usually feel overwhelmed at the death of a loved one?... A N Y W A Y I'm BACK, not forward, not in-between, not side to side or left to right, but BACK as in completely TURNED AROUND BACKWARDS, BATTY, INSANE, COOKOO, BONKERS, ROUND THE BEND, OUT TO LUNCH, THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT NOBODY'S HOME BECAUSE I'M NEXT DOOR ROBBING THE NEIGHBORS. that kind of radical insanity, if you catch my DRIFT. WHY THE SUDDEN CHANGE IN MY MENTAL STATE YOU ASK?! (don't bother, I'll say it for you *sigh* "what change, Bowen, you've never been exactly balanced, now have you?") WELL! not only has my OCD escaped all bounds of reality, but on top of that I am losing the hearing in my right ear! That's right, I'm a musician, and I am - WAIT FOR IT- not going DEAF, but what's just as bad!? Having a severe ringing in my ear that I can't HEAR OVER WHICH IS TRIGGERED BY ANY SOUND! MAKING SOUND MAKES MY EARS STOP WORKING! WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! So, instead of staying in this complete depression of three months in which all I've done is order a hearing aid...(yes, I'm twenty and I get to do things most seventy year olds could only DREAM OF!) I've decided to distract myself with chewing gum (Not the fanfiction author of that name on this site, I mean bubblegum that I am chewing because I'm a nervous chewer - that`s like a nervous smoker, only you die slower.) and writing! That's right ladies and gents, I've amped up the voltage to the crazy alien meter and have BLOWN OFF THE TOP. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, YOU ASK? STORIES! I am gunna be pumping out one shots, chapters and poems like a tire pump on steroids, a seesaw on springs! So for anyone who missed me and wondered where the frick I was - I'M HERE FOR YOU NOW! and for those of you who were glad I'm gone...TOO BAD!!!! I'm gunna be doing at least one piece of writing a day, probably in the evening, so sit back, fasten your seatbelts, and get ready to have your faces stretched from the velocity! LETS RUMBLE! ~ WE'RE ALL MAD HERE ~ STUFF TO EXPLORE: (Episode 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqk9alMoDIo&feature=context&context=C32faf0bADOEgsToPDskI1aNHPpTpGD39YTUpbTPFP (Episode 2) (Includes an interview with Mrs. Hudson) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rde-9s-5CEc&feature=context&context=C32faf0bADOEgsToPDskI1aNHPpTpGD39YTUpbTPFP (Song 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnH4u9AQi58&feature=related (Song 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmuJKbNwtyg&feature=related (Song 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5E1det5Ivag&feature=related Description (and other things) of Bowen Cheshire Cates: (Yes, I go by this in the 'real' world, my legal name got boring). What? you wanna know what I look like? either that or you've just stumbled upon this section of my profile and like that time you picked up TV week and even though you knew it was shallow as frick you just couldn’t' resist flipping to the gossip section in the back... But WHATEVER. I'm twenty years old, for serious. I have a grown out buzz cut of brown hair that kinda sits however it wants to (my father's beard trimmer is a wonderful thing), I keep it tamed with a bandanna I got from Granville island that's deep red and navy blue in an East Indian design, and I tie it with my mom's old silver scarf clip. I wear my dad's old leather outback hat on top of it (Dude, it's got an awesomely huge brim). I'm short, because all my brains took the energy I needed for my height, I average out at around five foot two. I have very small hands and feet and my skin is that kinda pinky colour normal for Caucasians (or it usually is, right now I’m kinda pale, hmmm I just noticed that, white hand, black keyboard…weird). I have a nice face (I’m told), with a distinct nose that isn't big but isn't small, and thick eyebrows that I don't pluck, but luckily for me, I don't have a uni-brow. I have very straight teeth that are a little sensitive due to constant brushing because I'm a tense and very high strung alien dude who always means well and then goes too far (The road to Hell is paved entirely with my good intentions, in fact, they laid the road down in the first place just to have a place to put all the material I was stacking up.). I have nice ears, unusually nice actually, I know this because my piercer who has put three holes in each of my ears (I have four, but not all were done by her) noted that particularly, I wear a lot of different earrings, big carved wooden ones, studs, rings...but my faves are the silver spirals where the spiral part goes through my ear. They're a little awkward at times, but with my usual garb of white under t-shirt, long sleeve shirt and jeans, all of which are basically exactly the same every day, my earrings are the only change in my appearance I really allow myself. (I don’t like heavy ones though, I don’t want to be one of those old ladies with stretched lobes. For shoes I favour leather hiking boots, of which I have two kinds, and for outer layers I have an extra large hunting vest full of pockets (Which I keep empty, they’re for emergency use, like if I need a place to put something during the day that I didn’t leave space in my shoulder bag for.) and an extra large barn coat. That's it. that's all. In case you're wondering, yes I am insane. Yes, I have arranged my entire wardrobe around the possibility of being attacked or endangered at any moment, but only because I know the truth, and the truth is fricking disturbing. Nothing is ugly and nothing is beautiful and so to me, despite my trying to convince myself otherwise, everything is mildly disgusting. I hate everything about the human body. Hair, eyes, fingers, skin...you give me something pretty and I’ll taint it for you, no extra charge! Hence the heavy clothing choices, and the overly big shirts (I use the long sleeves to cover my hands so I don’t have to look at them) I cover every bit of myself that i can without being mistaken for a terrorist (but I can do basically every kind of head and body wrap from every country, many of which I have improved for more convenience and endurance). Anyway, so there you go. Short, eccentric, heavy duty, with clothes that are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to big for someone of my height and weight. I got used to the staring a long while ago. I’m so deeply entrenched in my own little world that most of the time I’m completely unaware of my appearance, my gender or my situation from day to day, so I forget why people watch me oddly as I raid the men’s department at mark’s work wearhouse, but hey, better to be too deep in your head then too shallow in your body, right? I’m actually a very emotional person; I was given the name ‘Sa Qui Gag Ni Wi St Hi Esthar’ which translates into ‘One who frees all pain’ from the Cherokee first nations language. I do a lot of work with people who struggle mentally, emotionally or physically in the world, to help them move on with their lives. With my silver tongue, my visual mind and my past experience with grief, I’m kick ass at my crazy self imposed job (if I do say so myself, which I just did). That’s me in a nutshell, one whacky, messed up Dude. ~ WE'RE ALL MAD HERE ~ STUFF TO EXPLORE: (Episode 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqk9alMoDIo&feature=context&context=C32faf0bADOEgsToPDskI1aNHPpTpGD39YTUpbTPFP (Episode 2) (Includes an interview with Mrs. Hudson) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rde-9s-5CEc&feature=context&context=C32faf0bADOEgsToPDskI1aNHPpTpGD39YTUpbTPFP (Song 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnH4u9AQi58&feature=related (Song 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmuJKbNwtyg&feature=related (Song 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5E1det5Ivag&feature=related Stories And Poems: Most of my work deals with depression, hardship, friendship or contemplative thought. I’m fascinated by Holmes because I have similar difficulties and quite a few of the mental peculiarities he exhibits. I love to explore every aspect of his character, but because I am myself quite a dark person at times, and those times are when I need to express myself, most of my work involving the cannon tends to be on the depressive side. Notably ‘A Dangerous Mind’ and ‘Tomorrow’. On the lighter side of things, there are times when I allow my love of humour to show through, I’ve been told that ‘I Don’t Mind If You Don’t Mind’ is very funny so if you’re looking for a laugh I’d try that first, also, showing my particular sense of odd humour are ‘Dear Fellow Holmesians Of The Deerstalker’ and ‘The Adventure Of Shakkah Holmes and Dawson Wasson’ two of my personal favorites, I think they’re quite funny if I do say so myself. I have three stories in SH22, my first two ‘The Story Of the Fourth Irregular’ and ‘A Tale Of Entwinement’ are about Children whose lives are changed after coming in contact with Sherlock Holmes. The former does not involve time travel, the latter does, but I like to think it’s tastefully done. In ‘The Story Of the Fourth Irregular’eleven year old Sarah Leanne Rowlands is kidnapped off the streets by Moriarty after escaping from her abusive family. She is put in the same cell as Holmes who was captured shortly after. Upon discovering that the detective has been blinded with little hope of recovering his sight Sarah, who cannot talk due to a speech disability, becomes his eyes, and he, her window into a world that is far greater then anything she had at first imagined it to be. The two form a tight friendship and help each other meet the challenges that lie before them. ‘A Tale Of Entwinement’ follows the life of fourteen year old Theodore Trent, a nerd who has no idea how to stand up for himself. He’s a whiney little kid with no idea who he is or what he wants. But when he’s sent back in time to the nineteenth century he falls right into the lives of Mr. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, he then ends up dragging the former into the future with him to the twenty second century. They both end up on a rip-roaring adventure with the Holmes of that time which leads all ‘three’ of them to reevaluate their lives. Theodore becomes a young man, 1800 Holmes softens up a bit and 2103 Holmes learns to live. I probably won’t finish my third story ‘The Adventures Of Mycroft Holmes’, as it’s extremely important to me. Myke is one of my favorite imaginary friends, her and Rowley have come a long way with me over the course of my life, and their stories have already been written in my head, so if I get a lot of interest I’ll type it out on electronic paper, but if I don’t, it’s already done inside my head and there is no reason for it to end there. You may notice that I sometimes mention a young man by the name of Boswell Dorian Grey, he's my bestest imaginary buddy, and he's written some stuff of his own as well as participated in 'The Adventure Of Shakkah Holmes and Dawson Wasson’ when I decided to insert myself into a story for fun. If you think I'm crazy that's fine, whatever helps you sleep at night, but please don't leave your opinions in reviews, he's very sensitive and I don't want people insulting him where he can see it.
