A Little About Me!

Wow, over a year since I published my first story! I've been writing for years, but through most of high school and college I stopped. Sad, but true. Last May I took a chance and published a story I wrote in seventh grade called The Locket. From there, I started my first multi-chapter fic, and here we are! Not only am I a scientist, I can now finally say that I am a writer, and I love it. I hope to eventually get back into writing original fiction again as well! It's so wonderful to finally share my stories, and to be able to share with others their love of writing as well.

I like unique and unusual parings. I like characters that seem minor and unimportant, because you can delve into them a bit more. I root for the underdog. My favorite characters tend to be killed in books and TV. So they live on in my stories (sometimes!)

Please read and review my stories, cause I only hope to get better from where I am now! I really and truly appreciate every review I get, they mean so much to me! I also love constructive criticism. I am not perfect. You can feel free to point it out, because I want to improve.

My Philosophy

My personal belief is that, if I read it, no matter how old the story is or if the author is still active, I will leave a review on a story. If you leave me a review, I will definitely be sure to check out what you have written, even if it's a genre I don't typically read or a category I don't particularly know.

I'm a firm believer in constructive criticism, but I also believe that every story has a positive side. From me you will get the good and the needs improvement. I don't believe in being negative- we are all here because we love to write, and taking the chance to put yourself out there deserves praise to begin with!

Please just remember, I am a graduate student, so most of the year I am tackling school and don't have as much time to read as I would like. Eventually, I will get to your story. I promise! :-D

Current Stories

Heroes and Thieves-- In the seventh book, Lee Jordan mentions a family of muggles killed by Voldemort during his Potterwatch broadcast. Why was that family so important? In the aftermath of war, Alicia Spinnet can't escape the horrors inflicted by the Death Eaters. Her life is consumed with work and revenge. When he comes home for a family wedding, Charlie Weasley is shocked by the changes in the girl and invites her to Romania to recover. Will the two find something more, or will Alicia's desire to avenge her family keep them apart? AS/CW

Nothing Which Goes Is Lost-- They reset the time line when Juliet detonated Jughead. They expected to die. They expected to go back in time, never to remember the island. But they never expected what actually happen. The Island hasn't let any of them forget the last three years. Why do they remember? Is the Island ever really done with anybody? They thought Jughead would correct the course of history, and maybe it did. But what if it didn't? As Duckett once said, it'll come around...

On Hiatus... Kind of...

All We Need To Survive- What if there were other survivors of Flight 815? How about some new faces on the Kahana and amidst the Others? A look at how these new faces among the old ones will change their own fates and the fates of those with them when their actions, choices, and histories are factored into the story. A very special thanks to all those who contributed characters!

Due to the amount of work required to get one of these chapters out, and due to the fact that I am starting a fairly intense graduate program, updates on AWNTS will unfortunately be few and far between. It's safer to say it's just on hiatus. It's something I hate to do, but I'd feel bad leaving you completely up in the air as to whether it will be continued or not. More frequent updates should occur once classes break for the holidays.

1000 Beats A Minute- A Harry Potter story. Luna has never seen a hummingbird, though she may have seen a nargle. Dean makes it his mission to remedy this situation. Dean/Luna, Post-DH

Blue- A Harry Potter story. The world is ending and Hermione is left alone. As everything crashes down around her, she finds comfort in an unlikely source. Hermione/Percy, AU

Bye Baby Bunting- A Lost story. Kate Austen has always done what was best for herself. Roger Linus just wants his son to survive. The aftermath of Kate's decision in "Whatever Happened, Happened" and what happens when she returns to the Dharma Initiative.

Dust and Bones- A Defying Gravity story. When the dust clouds blew over and the shuttle lifted off, Sharon Lewis realized the Mars mission wasn't going to end like all the others. The story of what happened on Mars after Donner was forced to abandon Sharon and Jeff. A character study on two people whose deaths influenced the entire series.

Here at the Edge- A Defying Gravity story. Donner makes the ultimate sacrifice to save the crew of the Anteres. A companion piece/prequel to "Still Breathing," but can be read stand alone.

Hesitance- A House story.When hesitance cost him everything, Kutner promised himself he would never hold back again. So what is is about her that's holding him back now? Kutner/Thirteen

People Puzzles- A House story. House loves people puzzles, especially among his team. This leaves Kutner with a lingering question, one he's determined to answer before House can. This story has a bit more impact since Kutern's exit from the show, I think.

Love Came Down at Christmas- A Lost story. A retelling of a Christmas Carol through Sayid's eyes. After the rescue of the Oceanic Six and the death of his wife Nadia, Sayid sinks into the darkest recesses of a man's soul. Three very special spirits return to show him the true meaning of Christmas, and maybe a little more. Sayid/Shannon

The Locket- A Les Miserables story. When Fantine lost her job, she sold her precious locket to earn money to send to her daughter Cossette. What happened to the locket after it left her hands?

Still Breathing- A Defying Gravity story. Tragedy strikes the Anteres crew six months into their expedition. As the crew members react to the shock, Paula and Steve grow closer. Paula/Steve

The Mummy: Curse of the Seven Scorpions- A Mummy story. Libby O'Connell hasn't heard from her older brother in years. She had no time for mummies as she ran her Cairo hotel. However, when Seth's resurrection is linked to an artifact in the hotel, Libby is thrust back into Rick and his family's life. Using Cleopatra's clues, follow the family as they race through Egypt to find the scorpions and Libby learns that maybe there's room in her life for her family... and maybe a little more! Jon/OC

The Safest Place- An All My Children story. In the aftermath of the Michael Cambias murder, Kendall is haunted by the consequences of her actions. Seemingly abandoned, nightmares threaten to overtake her life. Is there a hero to rescue her? Kendall/Boyd, AU

Waking Up- A Lost story. Charlotte has never wanted to wake up as badly as she does in this moment. There are still too many things that are left unsaid. Charlotte/Daniel, Post-Jughead

Warrant- A Mean Girls story. Jill Norbury expected many things in her life, but never to have the police search her home for drugs. A story exploring just what happened when Ms. Norbury was accused of being a drug dealer in the burn book. Norbury/Duvall

Warrior's Eyes- A Mummy story, based on the third movie. Lin has never met her father, but she knew he had warrior's eyes. An attempt at explaining the hurried romance between Alex and Lin. Alex/Lin
