Author has written 30 stories for Naruto, Harvest Moon, Legend of Zelda, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Death Note, and Kyou Kara Maou.

My profile is badly written right now, as I wrote it a year ago. I hope to update it later, but for now you'll have to bear with it's awfulness!

My name is Lily Cade. It's very nice to meet you! I hail all the way from jolly old Britain, the Land of the Free, the Home of the Brave... wait, am I thinking of something else? . Being only fifteen years old, people tend to underestimate my passion for the pen, so to speak; however, I am an avid writer and freelance novelist, and hope to exercise my writing skills (or blunders) on this site.

I feel pleased, yet nervous to become a member of this site. I have written so much before, my longest 'novel' being around 160 A4 papers long, but i have never shown anyone my work. My parents disapprove of my writing content, my sisters ridicule it, and none of my friends are enthusiastic writers, so this will be the first time anyone has ever read my work. Not that I mind my family's disinterest in my work. In fact, I'd rather they not read it! I welcome all criticism, as long as it is helpful and constructive, as it is the only way I'll learn from my mistakes.

Personality-wise, I am rather intelligent. Not what you would call a prodigy of any sort, but generally I do all right. I'm no looker on any scale, but I find I prefer it that way, as it has taught me the valuable lesson of 'it's what's on the inside that counts'. I'm a overall good-hearted person, and try to be polite and supportive in my reviews- even if the story is a complete and utter shambles. I am determined and headstrong, to a fault, even. I am fairly compassionate, and will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, or discrimination of any sort. Those prejudiced people are welcome to their own thoughts, but I ask them not to corrupt others as they so sadly have been; and would like to say that just because they have an opinion, it doesn't mean they're right. By no means am I a saint- I am stubborn and can argue for England, and if someone rubs me up the wrong way they'll hear about it. Loudly and patronizingly. Don't say you weren't warned.

In terms of appearance, lets just say I'm not winning any beauty contests. Don't pity me or think I lack self-esteem, for I do not. It is the truth that I am not conventionally beautiful. Or, as many would say, ugly. Whilst I agree that my mane of frizzy dark hair, huge owl-rimmed glasses, sloppy dungarees, 'peace' T-shirts, pasty white skin and over-sized jumpers older than me may look a little strange, I like it, and that is all that matters. Sure, I get my fair share of petty remarks, but that doesn't bother me. When you're someone like me, you learn to live with it. I suppose it did me good in the long run, as I am now virtually impossible to hurt or insult. In my opinion, only people you care about can hurt you. If you don't give a toss about someone, then you shouldn't care if they think you're an ugly cow, as their opinions mean nothing to you. Remember that, those who have low self-esteem!

My hobbies and interests include playing the piano, violin and guitar (but mainly the piano!), acting, singing, reading, drawing and creating manga and listening to music.

Love Through My Eyes

I am the sort of person who may be described as a romanticist, but I'm never a hopeless romantic. Love is something you have to keep your head out of the clouds and your feet on the ground on. I know I'm only fourteen years old, and many of you are probably thinking 'What does this kid know about love?' and that's understandable. I still have a lot to learn about the workings of the world. I know it's easy to lose yourself in love, and often easy to mistake infatuation for love. When I was little, I was a romantic. Of the hopeless kind. I would always mistake infatuation for love- I was foolish. I would get carried away with myself in Romeo-and-Juliet type fantasies, and I am ashamed knowing that that naive little girl who thought she knew so much was me.

Infatuation is nothing more than a schoolkid crush. It may last weeks or months, but never forever. Infatuation is when you are mad about someone. It is when you think you are in love with someone without really knowing the real them. You may 'love' them for their looks, their strength, their popularity, their humour, their openness, their outgoing personality. You focus only on their good points, and are blind to all their flaws. The point of your affections may be totally oblivious to you, or treat you badly, or harbor no respect for you, and you wouldn't care. Maybe you wouldn't even notice. This is infatuation- a silly thing, yet a thing we must all experience in order to become better, wiser people.

Love is a different thing all together. I don't believe in love at first sight. Love, unlike infatuation, does not develop in an instant. It takes years and years for the bud of true love to bloom into a beautiful flower- one that, if cared for properly, will always stay fresh and never lose it's fragrance. Love is caring for someone with all your heart. It's devotion, fidelity, trust. It is being aware of someone's flaws, and accepting them, even loving those little faults as they are part if the person you hold so close to your heart. Love is a tricky thing to understand, and I do not know all there is to know about it. After all, I have never experienced true love. Still I find it hard to differentiate between loving someone and being in love with someone. Though I know loving someone can often be purely platonic, sometimes platonic love can be confused with something a little more.

Love is like fire. Dangerous, but so very very beautiful. You have to know how to handle it, or you're going to get burnt.

Love is the eternal flame, huge, beautiful, dazzling, knowing, never going out no matter how heavy the rain pours. Infatuation the fickle firecracker, which no sooner than when you grasp it, fizzles out into nothing.

So when you find love, do not simply reach out and snatch it with both hands. Do that, and the fire will take you for sure. Slowly wrap yourself around it so the heat doesn't overwhelm you, and bring it close to your heart. And keep it there always.

You won't regret it.

Thank you for your time.

I wrote that a year ago. It sounds pretty cheesy, and I should change it, but... I'm lazy. Sorry, folks!

I always forget these on my stories, so I will post it here to be on the safe side! Disclaimer: I own the content, not the characters.

I have many fandoms, but I only write for a select few, those being The Legend of Zelda, Phoenix Wright, Harvest Moon, and Naruto. I may have a few others, but those are my main subjects.

If you read my small essay on love, you will know that I like to be sensible about it, and I try to keep my romance stories as believable and down-to-Earth as possible. That said, I have a tendency to write about 'crack' pairings, but in a serious way. I like to bring together two characters that have possibly never even met, and ease them into a relationship. I find it less restrictive and more challenging than writing about canon couples. It's fine to write about two people who's relationship has already been built for you. But I prefer to start romance from scratch. It lets my creative juices flow more freely.
