I'm an eighteen-year-old unconventional young woman and I celebrate my birthday on Groundhog's Day. I love The Office, the beach, political cartoons, traveling, facials, playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band, good books, writing, my family, friends, pondering, photography, Dr. Seuss, eating good food and critiquing engagement photos. I daydream way too much. I'm very idealistic. I love History, Sociology, and Anthropology. I find moral and ethical issues to be very interesting. I could watch the SNL "More Cowbell" skit with Will Ferrell in his half shirt over and over again and laugh every single time. I've seen the movie "Leatherheads" three times, so that would obviously make me a huge fan of John Krasinski.
I want a good education. I plan to get a Master's degree at least. I plan on going for my PhD if the circumstances allow it. I love to learn. My favorite movie is "Gandhi". I love The Beatles, Journey, Sondre Leche, Switchfoot, Coldplay, Mae, The Who, Boston, Josh Groban, Tears For Fears, Rufio, The Fray, The Eagles, The Police, Eric Clapton, Christmas music, and any music that is uplifting or peaceful. I could read the book The Stranger by Albert Camus over and over again and never get sick of it. I like learning about royal families and about obsure people and events in history. I'm a real sucker for the makeover shows like "Ten Years Younger" and "What Not to Wear", but I also like "Flight of the Conchords", "Scrubs", and "Hey Arnold". I also love going on YouTube. I'm also a sucker for romance and I love any shows that have to do with weddings. I love pizza and Greek food and can't stand it when people gossip. I don't like people who are fake and who think that they are above the rules. I also hate that my parents are incapable of knocking, but they are my family nonetheless.
As for fanfiction, I don't read it too often, but when I do, I only read "The Office" fanfiction, because its the only kind that I'm capable of taking seriously.
Rosebushes in Heaven as of September 19, 2008: As many of you know, I am currently at university! I'm loving it and I'm having a great t ime. However, my time is limited with all the homework that I'm getting, so I use all my spare time to have fun. Meaning... No time for Rosebushes in Heaven. Do not be sad, however, for I am coming home for a week for Thanksgiving, and I should be able to update my story there (at least a chapter). Then, on December 12, my semester ends, and I will be home from December - April to take Winter Semester off (That's weird, you say? Well, BYU - Idaho has this three track system thing here. I don't feel like explaining it so check it out: http://www.byui.edu/admissions/tracksystem.htm) So, I thought that I'd have to put Rosebushes in Heaven on hiatus until December, but fortunatley, that doesn't appear to be the case any longer; and writing the rest of Rosebushes in Heaven should be a very efficient project because I have the rest of the chapters, including the epilogue, outlined. I didn't take my outlines with me up to university, because I really need to do good on my studies, and I knew that I'd get distracted. So in November, you should have at least one new chapter! Yay!
Thank you for taking the time to read Rosebushes in Heaven. This is my very first story on this website, so it means a lot that I have readers and reviewers and that the reactions to this story have been positive. I never thought that this story would reach over one hundred reviews and that so many people would like it, so I'm flattered to know that people actually take the time to read and review and that they actually like my story. It really means a lot.
Thanks again, take care, and I hope you'll continue to read (and reread) my story!
