Hi there!

I am not an author, just someone who got drawn into the (sometimes) wonderful world of fan fiction thanks to my daughter Dearheart.

I am a professional symphony musician, with a Bachelor's in Violin and a Master's in Viola, hence my avatar.

I'm a proud homeschooling mom to four fabulous children: Dearheart (18), Zapping Hero Warren (14), Clannah(11) and Little Irish Pixie (9).

I've been happily married to my best friend for 20 years. He's a pastor and former B-52 crewdog, also a chaplain for the Air National guard, (and just finished serving the troops in Iraq).

I am an evangelical Anglican Christian. If you don't know what an Anglican is, my husband's standard definition is: take a Baptist and a Catholic and shake 'em up in a bottle, and out comes an Anglican! :-)

Other interests: (hmm...like I have time!!...) calligraphy, needlework, scrapbooking (of course--I've got four kids for cryin' out loud!), reading, movies, chamber music, hanging out with Dearheart's buddies at The Lion's Call, occasionally writing movie reviews...blah blah blah...(oh yeah, and chocolate!) yum...

Favorite movies: LOTR, Narnia, Amazing Grace, anything directed by Franco Zeferelli (Jesus of Nazareth, Brother Son Sister Moon, Romeo and Juliet, La Traviata, etc.), anything by the geniuses at Pixar, Galaxy Quest, etc. etc. etc...

Favorite books: The Bible!!, LOTR, The Dark is Rising sequence, Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, anything by Dickens, Frances Hodgson Burnett and Louisa May Alcott...

Other trivia about me: was raised in a theatrical family (mom's an actress, dad's a costume designer/director), seriously aspired to be a ballerina, then an actress, then finally wound up in music (thank God!), am a trained Precept Bible Study leader (Kay Arthur rocks!!), and my son and I are the only ones in our family who can wiggle our nostrils!! :-)
