Author has written 15 stories for Sentinel. I live in Pennsylvania where I have absolutely no attachments (no spouse, no significant other, no kids, no pets, no plants). I do, however, have three nieces , two nephews and two honorary nephews (my best friend's sons) who all have their auntie wrappped around their little finger! I do quite a bit of traveling for the bank I work for and love every minute of it. I am a senior teller when at home and a floating trainer when traveling. I hope to eventually phase out the home part and concentrate on the traveling, but that's a story for another day. When I am not working, reading or writing, I can usually be found obsessing over one of my other two obsessions. I am an avid NASCAR fan, and I am also a huge fan of Southern Gospel music. Does it make me a groupie if several of the nationally known groups know me by my first name? :-) I have been writing fanfiction since I was 7 years old. I just didn't know that there was a name for it, or that anyone else wrote it. Certainly none of my friends had ever heard of it - they all thought I was weird. Twelve or thirteen years ago, I discovered fanfiction on the internet, and I was hooked. Ten years ago I joined SentinelAngst, an e-list for the TV show The Sentinel that required me to write a story to be posted every two months. This was great for me, since it pushed me to actually write something. I have had some of my stories online since then under the name Kara. There were already 132 Karas here, so I now have a last name! If you have been on that list, or if you read at the Cascade Library, some of my fics may look familiar. But I have some that were never posted at CL, and I hope to write many more! Currently all of my fiction is in the Sentinel fandom, but I hope to change that soon. There are many other fandoms I would love to try out, such as Supernatural and Thunderbirds, but I just haven't been brave enough yet. To anyone reading my story Heart of the Matter, I apologize for the delay. I had another story I was working on that had a deadline, but now that I'm done with that, I will get back to Heart.
