Other stuff: Am at the moment really into Asimov's Robots - and would love to hear of any fellow robot-lovers and robot fanfic-ers - especially of Daneel/Elijah Slash, and Giskard and Daneel and Elijah in any and all combinations and - well more of the same. Love nothing better than parody fanficcing on aforementioneds, listening to FM Gold or Classic on the radio. I'm sure I'll annoy some people by my OOC-ing of Canon but I've just got that sort of humour. Love: Most Sci-fi of the older variety: Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, Bova, and one more modern one, Peter F Hamilton. Also love Daydreaming, Fantasizing, Sleeping, My Dreams, Cats, Food, Colours, Parody, P & Q, Sunsets, Scenery. Any place like Solaria and Aurora - oh and Robots, Asimov-flavour (including Data from Star Trek and Sonny from I, Robot, and I've got to include WALL-E too). Hate: Cars, people-noise, fireworks, annoying dogs, unruly kids, cat-haters, robot-haters, machismo, racists, homophobes, insensitive people, hecticness - hmm, quite a bit of RL really. I am tolerant (yeah tolerant) of fools - 'cause I feel one myself at times - and of people who goof up and who can't cope and who feel overwhelmed and just feel Bleeeurgh! I'd make a good Solarian: I'm single and a loner and happy that way - better an individualist than a herd-follower. Ambitions (well, sort of): whilst on this Earth I want to write great fanfic. Once off it, I want to fast-forward a 1000 + years so I can be with Daneel and Giskard and not simply have to dream and fanfic about them. I realize I do need a good Writing-Therapist/Organizer-plus-Editor to get my bad tenses and lack of plot into better shape. | |||||||
