Hey everyone!

I'm Laura Jayne, your average 16-year-old Aussie teenager, formerly known by the nickname Frankie, now known by the nickname LJ. I've been attempting to write for half my life, because I've always found solace in writing. I have a rather wild imagination, and am always trapped in a daydream of some sort, which can get me into some trouble, but who cares. My only problem is writing down the daydreams and ideas they bring before I forget them, hahaha!

I joined the site over a year ago at the urging of my best friend Nikki, who is a major HP fanatic. She is one of the coolest chicks in the WORLD. She's the one who's constantly poking and prodding me to write, and provides me with a LOT of inspiration. If there's anyone to thank for my writing (however bad it may be), it's her. =)

So...What to say about me? I'm a very musical person. I love the tunes man! I'm rarely seen out without my iPod, or music playing on my phone. Yet another thing that constantly inspires my writing. I like to laugh. A LOT. It isn't hard to amuse me. I can be quite hyperactive at times, and then I can be the complete opposite. I can also be quite the bitch, depending of the amount of sleep I've had! I'm currently a year 11 student, who isn't doing so bad at school, for once. My time is mostly dominated by school, and when I'm not at school, I'm often at work or out with friends.

Hmm, my favourite TV show at the moment has to be Scrubs. I mean, it's awesome, to sum up my opinion. My favourite movies are Transformers 1 & 2. I like them equally, and I think they're both AWESOME. Bumblebee is my fave Transformer. Umm, my favourite band is currently A Day To Remember. Check out their cover of 'Over My Head (Cable Car)', because it is amazing. I like a lot of Animes. Currently, my favourites include Black Cat, Bleach, Ouran High School Host Club, FullMetal Alchemist, Code Geass and HellGirl. Right now, I don't have a particular favourite novel or series of books, because I like most of the ones I read...hence why I read them, lol. The most recent book that I've read and really liked is 'Graceling', debute novel of Kristen Cashshore. I'm a big fan of the Final Fantasy games, but we only have FFVII: Crisis Core, FFX, FFX-2, and FFXII. Favourite characters are Zack Fair, Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Sephiroth (all FFVII), Rikku (X & X-2), Gippal (X-2), Paine (X-2), and Penelo (XII). I love the Kingdom Hearts series. It's pretty awesome in my books. =) And if you read webcomics, you have to read Looking For Group. It is really funny. And if you want laughs, watch Dragon Ball Z Abridged. It is one of the FUNNIEST things I've ever seen.

A few weeks before Christmas last year, my dog at to get put down because he had cancer. That caused a lot of my inactivity over the summer months. We now have two new dogs, because we couldn't really deal with not having one around. That, and it provided something for me and mum to focus our attention on rather then dwelling. My baby boy's name is Elmo and he's a Golden Retriever, and my dad's dog's name is Ernie, and he's a King Charles Spaniel. Yes, we went for a Sesame Street theme...because we're cool lol.

I apologise for the lack of updates. When my dog died, I kinda lost inspiration for my stories. That, and there was a lot of other things going on. I've recently started drabbling on what comes next, so hopefully there will be an update soon.
