I am 19 years old and am a keen writer. I am studying Geography and Media at university and my dream is to go into making tv shows, whether it be writing, filming, editing, or directing. I have built two websites and never miss an opportunity to learn more html code - little McGeek I am, is it bad I understand half the stuff he says?

I have loved books and writing for as long as I can remember and have consumed books at an alarming rate. I am partial to crime thrillers and murder mysteries and have read James Patterson, Kathy Reichs, Patricia Cornwell, Jeffery Deaver as well as some of the old Agatha Christy classics with Marple and Poirot.

I love watching my favourite crime programmes, Bones, NCIS, Waking the Dead, and trying to solve the murders before the characters. I also have to admit I am a great fan of Holby City which is where my fanfiction writing really began. I have been writing fanfiction for Holby City for nearly two years now and when I was recently introduced to NCIS I my mind immediately began to race with fiction material.

I am passionate about my writing and the stories I create, I try to add my own twist to well loved characters and bring something new to their personalities whilst staying true to the program. I have been described as mature for my age and very caring and i've been told it shows in what I write.

I was directed to these forums by my very very good friend murrinholi who has been nagging me to write and post on here. My first fiction is based upon NCIS and is as yet untitled, I can't post it for another 40 hours which is irritating, as soon as I can post it, it'll be here. I think I might have to try my hand at a Bones fic too. I am what feels like a million miles away from the settings of NCIS and Bones living in England all my life so my american slang is basic and probably incorrect, I aplogise now for any howlers in my fics.
