I do not like reading slash fics. I have no problem with gay people. I am friends with gay people. However, reading about it in explicit detail does absolutely nothing for me.

My favourite pairing is probably Harry/Tonks, but I will read most and like many.

Big fan of the Super!Independant!Powerful!Amazing!Harry type fics.

I've recently (like about 5 mins ago) reposted my first story, The Forgotten Power (I must have either been drunk or sleep deprived when i came up with that title), and depending on reaction from readers I may continue it in one form or another (would probably want to enlist the services of a beta on this one if I did)
I also have a few little bits of where I've started writing a story and then either got sick of it or got distracted by something else and forgotten to get back to it. We're mainly talking single chapters here. I may put them together and publish them as like a "rejects" compilation, and continue ones that prove popular...I don't know. I'm very much looking for reader input here and a direction to go, because I would like to get back to writing as I've got some free time coming up, so if you've any ideas/suggestions then please contact me.

Ok everyone, I've decided to continue the story. It won't be happening straight away becuase i'm going to be busy for a while, but i'm now determined that it WILL be happening. I've updated the author's note at the end of the story to reflect this decision. thank you all for the messages and reviews, even the ones i haven't replied to have been read and appreciated, so you have my thanks. anyways, i'll see how everything goes and hopefully have something out within a few weeks.
for now, all i can say is watch this space... :)

Well, I lied. unlike what i have told many of you in response to reviews and messages, i will NOT be updating The Forgotten Power this weekend. The reason? Simple. I'm writing a different story instead. This is one that i wrote the first part for a while ago and never got anywhere with, but not ive got ideas and really want to work with it. At least for now, this will be my new pet project. I do however maintain what i have previously said - TFP is not abandoned, it's just on hold. I will get to it when i get to it, but i am enjoying this new story more right now.
So a little about what has me so excited...It's very different to forgotten power. it's a harry/hermione fic (i know some of you won't like this, but it's probably my second favourite pairing, so live with it). A time-travel fic - i know this is over done, but i like them and am hoping to do a fair few things differently (for a start, it's one of only a few that i've seen in which more than one person goes back, if we aren't counting the "everybody goes back in time and meets their parents as kids" fics which as a rule i hate) and hopefully that will be enough to make it interesting. This is me, so of course we're going to be seeing a very powerful Harry, but hermione is also going to be pretty strong (not quite on the same level in a fight, but bloody close). as a rule, i don't like Ron, so once again, he's a prick. i'm also going for the manipulative dumbledore angle again...it just seemed to work with my plans, though he MIGHT be redeemed later (not sure). anyway, give it a read and let me know what you think.
