I am a 21 year-old female from Saint Paul, Minnesota where: Yes, it is cold and no, The Mall of America isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I go to school in Boston, where I often find myself torn between cheering for the Red Sox and my endless love for the Minnesota Twins. I’m generally pretty laid back and prefer friends and family to ridiculously large parties and outings, as I am very family/friend oriented.

I am an avid reader and could probably read a few books per day if I tried. A few favorite books/authors include: George R.R. Martin, Meg Cabot (both her teen and adult books), Memoirs of a Geisha, Catch-22, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Wars, The Great Gatsby, JK Rowling, Tolkien (even if he is a pain to get through…), RA Salvatore, Julia Quinn (hell yes I love predictable, trashy romance novels!), Twilight (I admit, I jumped the bandwagon...), and many more.

I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, but I make an effort to watch House, Avatar, Entourage and… Gossip Girl—it’s my guiltiest pleasure (And in my opinion, Rufus Humphrey is the best looking male character on the show). I’ll watch Scrubs if I happen to catch it, too. I love movies, most notably The Departed, which I like to quote. I have a bunch of favorite movies—I don’t think there’s ever really been one I’ve seen but didn’t like…except Spider Man 3. That was awful. I play video games, mostly Final Fantasy-esque ones, and MLB The Show. And the Bleach Wii game. And sometimes Mario. I also thoroughly enjoy Guitar Hero, though I can't sing and play at the same time. Apparently I'm just not that skilled.

Music is a staple to my existence. I have pretty eclectic taste and like just about everything, minus most country. I could list favorites, but that would take forever. Literally. I’d pick some out, but then be forced to arrange them in a top ten list or something and that would just be impossible. Bands that are always on the high end of the spectrum are: Incubus, Kanye West, Motion City Soundtrack, Atmosphere, 311, Barenaked Ladies, The Cure, Third Eye Blind, Tegan and Sara, One Republic, Death Cab…I have more favorite songs than I do bands.

In regards to anime and manga, general favorites are: Bleach, Inu-Yasha, Hana Kimi, Avatar (I count this as anime), Gravitation, Marmalade Boy, anything by Watase Yuu, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing, Tsubasa Chronicle… and that’s about all I’ve got right now.

I am a fencer, and wield a mean epee when I try. If anyone tries to tell you that epee is for people who are simple, tell them to GTFO. We don’t have right-of-way, because taking turns when stabbing someone is the most ridiculous thing ever, and the entire body is a target because it’s so satisfying to get a toe touch.

I enjoy well-written fanfiction, with no Mary-Sue’s or un-thought out plots. I have nothing against OC’s (look at my two longest fics, they’re both OC stories) as long as the OC is believable. I am also a very firm believer in reviews—they are fun to do, and they give us authors’ warm fuzzies.

Stray Dogs Work Wonders (Tsubasa Chronicle)

A Tsubasa Chronicle story centered around Kurogane and Fai. It really is a bunch of fluff, but (I think) well developed and written fluff. The story includes: a stray puppy, emotional revelations, and humor.

Into The Dark (Tsubasa Chronicle)

Another Tsubasa one shot, on the completely opposite emotional spectrum. R!Syaoran in the main character in this one, and it focuses on his relationship with Sakura and his clone, as well as his feelings about both. I admit, it’s pretty emo, but I really like it. R!Syaoran is in need a of a long, long, hug.

Slight R!Syaoran/Sakura, but not really. One shot. Complete.

Never Spoken (Bleach)

Matsumoto Rangiku is doing the only thing she can think of to get her mind of Gin…meaning paperwork. By chance, she finds an old note in one of her desk drawers, which only throws her farther into memories and thoughts of silver-haired former 3rd division taicho.

This is a GinRan fic, a rather bittersweet one shot set after Aizen’s betrayal. This was my first attempt at a one shot, and I think I pulled it off. Gin and Rangiku are probably my favorite anime couple (even thought we don’t know if they are or ever actually were a couple…). I really like this, and I thoroughly enjoyed writing it.

Breaking the Surface (Pirates of the Carribean)

James Norrington makes his way back to the living world after he decides he isn’t quite ready to be dead. Once he’s back, James washes up onto the shore of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. There, James is given another chance at life, and love.

This story is my baby. It is my most favorited, most reviewed, most viewed… I am very proud of it. A lot has gone into it, and it is so gratifying to see that so many people like it.

Lilies, Everlasting (Bleach)

After the war with Aizen has been settled, Abarai Renji finds himself promoted to captain of the fifth division. After a wild and raucous party celebrating his promotion, Renji wakes up in bed and finds he is not alone… Enter Tsukinai Suiren, third seat of the ninth division. Not only has Renji had a drunken one-night stand with this alluring shinigami whom he’s never met before, but Suiren is soon promoted to fukutaicho of the fifth squad, which ensures much awkwardness for all involved parties.

If BtS is my baby, this story is my love child from a steamy affair. I promised myself I wouldn’t start anything new until I’d finished BtS, but alas, this story jumped out one day. I have to say, it’s coming along nicely. Renji is one of my favorite characters, and while I think he and Rukia did love each other (romantically) at one point, I think she and Ichigo belong together now. And so, that leaves poor Renji all alone. He is my favorite character in Bleach, so I couldn’t let that happen. Suiren is probably my favorite OC that I’ve ever created. I want her sword.

Reminiscence (Bleach)

A series of one-shots from Ichimaru Gin's POV while he is in Hueco Mundo. Each of the installments focuses an aspect of his relationship with Matsumoto Rangiku, or a memory of their shared pasts. This will grow slowly, as I find the chapters hard to do-- Gin is very hard to write. I enjoy them a lot, though I don't really know if Gin is all that in character.

Since the stories are all his thoughts and memories I guess it doesn't really matter, since we don't ever really know what he is thinking (does anyone? Does Kubo Tite even know...?). I've tried to add the factors that make him Gin into each installment, like his leaving all the time and his attraction to power, etc. They're sad (they'd have to be-- you can't tell me Gin's not a little bit sad), because I believe Gin does have some good in him (just not enough...), at least where Rangiku is concerned.

Parts of this collection were inspired and influenced by MatsuMama and her wonderful story 'Blood and Ashes'. So-- go read it!

Reflection (Bleach)

A companion piece to 'Reminiscence', this time, from Rangiku's POV after Gin has left for Hueco Mundo.

I was dying to do this about halfway through 'Reminiscence', because I love this pair far too much to let them go. They are both incredibly complicated and hard to write, but I find them so fascinating and (in my opinion) so amazing together that I couldn't resist. I will probably have more to say about this as it progresses, but the description above for 'Reminiscence' covers things pretty well.

Ideas/Planned Fics

GrimmNel CRACK: Oh yes. This is most definitely happening. I was glad to see from my poll that I'm not the only person who finds this crack pairing interesting! I have some ideas, a possible outline half-assedly written. This definitely won't start coming into being until 'Lilies' is nearing it's end, but then again, with me you never know...

ByakuyaOC: I know, I know, I like my OC's, but this one really stems from the fact that I just can't see Bya with anyone currently in the cast, and I think he deserves another chance at happiness. I think Hisana would want that too, she seemed like a nice person... This story has a plot and an outline already done, and I am ITCHING to start writing it. I don't want to give too much away about it, but it is a vaguely romance novel-esque marriage of convenience, complete with drama. MatsuMama and I have sort of a ByaOC challenge going, so we'll see what becomes of this one. But I'm freakin' PUMPED.

IchiRuki: I have a few of these in mind, and I am just dying to write fluff about these two... one involving Ichigo's guitar that we never see him play, another about being sick and stubborn. I had one half-way done, but then my hard-drive died...These may come up whenever I get them done, so keep your eyes peeled :3

Finally, a Lilies update! Between school and this chapter simply not wanting to be written, it took FOREVER. You have my apologies. School trumps fiction though...luckily, I am now on winter break :) Hopefully, I'll be able to get some more done! I have missed Suiren. And Renji too. And writing in general. A LOT.
